It's a BOY!!!

We are SO excited!! The u/s was very clear & definite on the gender. It was really an amazing experience to have my husband & my parents there. I am an only child, so this was very special for my mom & dad.

Yea! I cannot wait to meet my little man!

Congrats! So exciting and so great that you were able to have your parents there too. We should start keeping a count of pink and blue - so it was no doubt, huh - that's great!

We have been thinking about inviting my dh's parents because all three of their boys are adopted and they have never been through the pregnancy process but I am scared that something will not be right and I don't want them to have to find out that way!

I have been putting the sex next to the EDD on the weekly list. I am changing the colors to pink and blue per Shellie's suggestion.

Fossie - About inviting your DH's parents...I don't know how your Radiology dept will handle your appointment. But this morning the technician took me back alone for about 35 minutes and did the anatomy scan. Once everything was done, then he went & got my DH & parents and then revealed the gender. So I'm sure they wouldn't have had the gender reveal with everyone there had there been something visibly wrong. I was nervous as can be this morning & just so scared something was wrong, so it was a wonderful relief. I'm sure your little one is perfect! :-)

I never thought about having other people there. I wonder if our radiology dept would let us? but then I guess we get into what if I have my mom but not his or vice versa. Ugg! Maybe we'll just keep it DH and me.

Holly - We had the same discussion about whether to have DH's parents with us, too. But in the end, my DH didn't feel strongly about having his parents there at all and he was really in favor of having my parents. We didn't tell his parents that my parents were there...and we aren't going to. I guess what they don't know won't hurt them! Like pretty much all in-laws, our relationship can be complicated. And I just wouldn't have felt very comfortable with them there.

Sorry it's taken so long to get on here - work is rough.
But everything went great at the scan - both of the babies (at 17 5/7 weeks) look great and are measuring 18 3/7 weeks and 18 5/7 weeks. The cervix is long and closed. Unfortunately baby A is still a complete placenta previa.
And we have..... one BOY and one GIRL! We are very excited!

As far as weight gain, I have gained 6 lbs so far -- all this past month.
