Hey ladies
Nice to hear I'm not alone in the symptom department! The smell thing...I SWEAR something has died in our garage but DH says he can't smell anything! I am also nauseous, though that was a bit better today, constipated and bloated! My pants are already a little snug....I'm pretty slim but I had to gain a few pounds (Drs orders - I'm a runner - no eating disorders or anything!) in order to even get pregnant. Add that in to the bloatedness and constant eating to keep the nausea at bay and I feel pretty frumpy! Ah well....a small sacrifice!

Welcome Chie!! My RE hasn't done any progesterone checks with me. I think it depends on your treatment/history/diagnosis.

It is Sooooooooooo cold here I am doing my best just to stay inside and keep warm.....but my poor dogs are begging to go out......this is when I pull the "but I'm pregnant" card so DH will take them! LOL!

Thanks for the help i am about to try again with the ticker. Last night was horrible. i had an emotional breakdown! I wasnt really in the mood for and dh was so he kept asking and then he helped me get in the mood. Well what do you know right before i climaxed (sorry tmi) I started cramping really bad and i got some watery blood for like 3-5 min and it went away, so i went for a drive to cry my eyes out and scream. I was sooooooo scared. Well it has not come back and i read on the American Pregnancy Association web site this morning that it is common because of the sensativity of your cervix and that all should be ok just obstain until my first u/s. Ummmmmm......duh! he is going to have to take care of his own buisness. It was sad though because he felt really guilty. i still love him though.


mum2- I know what you mean I keep asking dh if he passed gas and he is like "Lorry i am not passing gas will you quit asking" lol

flaming- lol i am so sorry girl sounds awful.

Chie- i am also taking prometrium and i am so glad i have insurance because that stuff cost $140. WOW. I am taking 200 mg once a day. how many mg are you on?

I too am having the bloating and think my jeans are on their last week (which is right on schedule with my previous 's). That yucky gas feeling is starting to be more nausea which I'm taking as a good sign since I've never really had that before. My bb's are starting to be more sore than just full, so I'm a little more relaxed this week and just hoping that it continues.

As for - DH should be so lucky!! I'm soooo paranoid about it, even though I've been through a healthy pregnancy before. I want to wait until I see the heartbeat (Monday ) - then I'll feel a lot more secure. Plus, I am sooooooo tired/bloated/achy in the evenings that I am totally not in the mood anyway!

The ticker thing - if it's lilypie there are several different options for cutting and pasting once the ticker is done. I used the second one down and pasted it straight into my sig. Good Luck!

Well I am a little better now. I think I had about 3 temper tantrums at work today. My boss (who knows I am pregnant) just keeps saying "we'll, it's going to be long 9 months" . I just need to take a walk when I feel like biting someone's head off. The funny thing is that people regard me as being pretty level headed.

Well I am off to bed in a few minutes and am hoping that I get more symptomatic tomorrow. It is so reassuring even if it feels rotten. This morning I was pretty nauseated, but a lot of my symptoms were less noticeable (well minus the evil attitude) than previous days. I know they can come and go but it still makes a girl a little nervous, you know?

Hi Ladies!

I'm pretty new here and we just heard our great news on 2/7! I guess that puts me in the October due-date club. I must say, I am very happy to be here with all of you!

After our m/c and chem. preg. I am beyond nervous, but I'm trying to stay calm & positive as much as possible.

Our first u/s is scheduled for 2/25. I so wish it was sooner!

I'm really looking forward to hearing about how all of you are progressing and I'm praying we all have a safe & sound 9 months!!

Laura - Those are great numbers to start off with!! You and I have our u/s on the same day so we can wait together. Trust me, we understand being nervous this time around. Today is a good day for me, but I'm not always so optimistic with this

Here are the exact steps to creating your ticker for your signature:

1) Go to Lilypie : Free Baby stuff and create your ticker

2) At the final step, you will see 4 options: HTML, PseudoHTML, Ezcode, and Image URL

3) Copy the PseudoHTML (second option)

4) On fertility community, go to User CP

5) Choose edit your signature

6) At the bottom of the editing box, skip a couple of lines and paste the PseudoHTML that you copied in step 3

7) Click either save your signature, or preview your signature.

8) That should do it for you. Good luck!

Well i hope i get to keep my ticker ladies. I got a call yesterday that my bw from friday was negative (a syrum not a quantitative test). Then i went home and took a digital and another first response and they both say "pregnant" so i am in limbo till my next blood test. Doc said she never heard of this happening (positive before and after b/w saying no). Praying it is a lab error and staying on my Progesterone supositories. Please keep me in your prayers.

Sorry I have been away for a few days. I am using Prometrium 200 mg supp 3xday. I talked with my RE and because supposely it is a high dose they would not routinely check my progesterone level. I did some research and several studies showed a equal response with supp vs IM. But the key is that it must be placed very close to the cervix as it is absorbed directly thru the uterus. AKA place it deep.

Another question: Herbal teas. I miss them but looks like very few of them are safe and there are some conflicting data. Any information you can share?

Chie, I drink Japanese Barley tea or Rooibos (African Red Bush) tea which both should be ok in pregnancy. Also ginger is fine and mint in small doses are ok. Chamomile is fine too I think, but some say that because it is related to ragweed it can give the baby allergies later. I am not sure this is true. I say google the herbs that are in the tea you want to drink - there are many websites that will give you information on the safety of different herbs in pregnancy.
