Off to my appointment - so nervous and so excited - I'll be in touch this afternoon!!!
Laura - from what I 've heard and read and seen on baby shows and what not you are right - it is very, very normal and rarely an indication of anything going on! Usually it is just a great excuse to get to see your baby again!

Me (31), DH (32),  Marley (6)TTC 3+ years - PCOS, Fibroids Tubal Factor (Lost one tube due to ectopic) 11/06 - Second ever  (clomid) - miscarriage at 7 weeks.Starting IVF # 1  12/26/07 - Begin Lupron ER - 1/17/08 (16 retrieved, 11 fertilized) ET - 1/22/08 (5dt of 2 embies) (2 frozen) Beta #1 - 2/1/08 - - 153 Beta #2 - 2/4/08 - 465Beta #3 - 2/6/08 - 935
Ultrasound # 1 - 2/20/08 - It's twins!  Baby A & B both have good heartbeats and are measuring on target!!! U/S # 2 - 2/27/08 - both doing well! U/S # 3 - 3/5/08 - babies still doing well! 1st OB Appt. - 3/24/08, 2nd OB Appt. - 4/14/08 Referred to Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist - 3/25/08 - went well Anatomy Scan - May 13th - 5/13/08 SHELLIE It's a BOY (Tyler Murphree) and a GIRL (Mary Kathryn)! Betas: 2/22= 170, 2/25= 499, 2/29=2857 1st u/s 3/13 (My wedding anniversary!) 140 BEAUTIFUL bpm! 2nd u/s 3/27 - WOW! The growth is amazing! 182 bpm U/S 5/27/08 GO TEAM BLUE!!! OMG THEY WERE WRONG! We've switched teams...we're now THINKING PINK!!!

We are having a BOY! It was so great to see him moving around, and I actually felt him move this morning, as I was laying in bed wide awake at 4 a.m. anxious about the appointment.
I also have to go back next week to have an ultrasound at the radiology department. He said everything looks good, he just wants better images. Also, I have placenta previa. He says it is possible that it could move, and he can better determine if it is likely to move from the scan with radiology. So I guess we will just wait and see for now. I'm sure I will start to actually worry about this once I come down from all the excitement of seeing my baby boy this morning! Shellie, can't wait to hear your news!

It's a...
BOY and a GIRL!
We are so excited and it was great to see them. We too have to go back in three weeks for a better look, they were too small to tell some things definitively like heart and spine - but they said preliminarily everything looks good. It crazily enough went along with the heartrate theory - the girl is 145 and the boy is 135!!! We could definitely tell it was a boy, the girl was being stubborn the whole time and I never saw anything that would indicate girl but the sonographer said she was pretty certain! Congrats Tabitha!!!
