Hi, I rescheduled my anatomy scan to the 23rd. Just could not wait. We still did not come with names yet.

What exciting news - everyone finidng out the boys and girls!

They say that blastocyst transfers produce more boys, it would be interesting to know who did what day transfer.
I did a day 5 (with both pregnancies) and those 2 transfers have produced 2 girls and 1 boy - so for us, the girls win.

I'm glad everyone is feeling well. I would post a belly shot but since I take lovenox, my poor belly is so bruised up it looks terrible! I think I'll start doing it in my leg. Everytime I go for an US I have to remind them I'm on lovenox, I think they think my husband is abusive - poor guy.

i am off to my 16 week appt. i so wish i could find out the gender today...i don't even know if i am getting an u/s. probably not. i just cannot wait!!

I had another anatomy scan today and it looks like they still could not get the shots they needed. Our little guy is pretty active. And the technician said that 18 weeks is still a little early to get really good images. If needed, I'll go to the genetics department in 2 weeks for a better u/s. Any excuse to see my little one is good with me!

No news - this time zone thing kills me :-)! Holly let us know and Amy maybe you got a nice surprise!!!

Laura they told me it was a bit too early too and the girl was too active to get good shots but they did say in 2-3 weeks they should be big enough that it is a lot easier.

Celeste - I think it is interesting too. I was convinced by statistics that both of mine would be boys just because I have heard so much about 5 day blast transfers being 70% boy chances. I have also heard that 50% of fraternal twins are boy/girl though and I have also heard that you have a better chance at boy/girl if they are "graded" differently. I transferred two 5 day blasts one graded an A and one graded a B. Don't know if there truly is a correlation but when you look at due date threads on these boards when they start finding out who is having what it seems that boys outnumber the girls more often. They say births nationwide though boys outnumber girls too and it has been that way for years!

no luck here, didn't have an u/s! BUT i do get to schedule it today and i am going to shoot for either monday the 26th or tuesday the 27th. i can't wait!

here I am!!! Sorry I had an 8:30am mtg and then everyone in the office has been coming in to see the ultrasounds pics.


We couldn't tell!!!!! We did get to see lots of pics of the baby and it's perfectly healthy!

We got 4 shots of the baby's "parts" and 2x it looked like a girl and 2x it looked like a boy The tech said he would guess boy but he's not confidant at all. It's either a boy and not really developed enough to tell, or it's a girl and the labia is swollen which is making it confused for a possible boy.


Oh well! We have our next Dr appt on June 11th. Anybody know if they'll so another ultrasound later? If not, we'll probably go pay and do the 3-d oe around 28 - 30 weeks.



The late appt is a nice advantage with Kaiser and that way DH can be there for my appts

Glad to hear everything is looking good - too bad you couldn't tell but I am sure you will be scheduled for another ultrasound. Did they say anything about not getting a good enough look and needing to do another since if it wasn't developed enough for telling gender you may need some time to tell definitively about other things too? I know that the 3D places around here won't do them until after your gender scan but since you have had one I'd say go for a 3-D if you don't think you will have another ultrasound scheduled!

The tech felt that he got good shots of all the other body parts so we'll see if the radiologist and dr agree. I've got great profile, leg and arms shots We'll see what they say at my appt on the 11th about future ultrasounds.
