Hi ladies -
I hope you are all having a great day & getting as much rest as possible. The only symptom I've had yet is being so tired...but each time I've been on progesterone supplements I've been really tired. I'm on 200mg 3x day and assume I'll stay on for at least the first 14 weeks.

Ok, random questions. Is decaf coffee OK? I have heard different theories and I would love your input. I miss my morning latte!

Frymomma2b - you are in my thoughts & prayers!! Stay positive and keep us posted!

NorCal - I'm so happy to have an u/s buddy! I'm assuming by your screen name you are located in Northern California. That's where I am, too!

Have a great night, !
Laura

Laura and Holly .. US

Laura and Holly, just wanted to say I'll be with you both on the US day. My dr. wanted me to go on the 20th. ... but, I am traveling so work. So, I have to wait until the 25th. I can't stand it. But, at least I'll know I'll have company. I am very anxious.

Need to work on the ticker.

Tara.

Hi ladies,

I haven't been given an official EDD yet and am having twins. From my calculations I am due in Sept too. (today: 7w3d) I've been hesitant to join this thread as I wanted to see how I progressed and after the second ultrasound I was d/c to OB. Of course I have to find one. Boy this is fast; hard to believe it's really happening. Also, I have been SO nauseated and was told this is common when expecting multiples, so today was first day I felt up to getting online. Glad to have found this thread and wish us all a healthy pregnancy!!

Justine- stop by anytime!!!! We will love to hear all your updates!!

Hi ladies. I haven't posted in awhile, I had some spotting and was very scared about the outcome but they did an u/s and he said all was well. We couldn't see the heartbeat yet, which sucked, but I will get to see that next week and DH will be there so thats even better.

I am doing well. No m/s or anything, only tiredness. I actually had pizza for breakfast this morning. YUMMY!!! IT was soooo good. ONly a few more days and I will get to see my baby with a beautiful heartbeat I pray.

Hope you all have a great pregnant Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day to all the October Due Date Ladies. In the event you want an optional ticker .. this one is really easy to use. It removes portions of a puzzle from a picture of your choice as you progress.

Heart My update

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY MY PREGO FRIENDS!!!!
Ok so i am . Which i kinda already knew was a sure thing do to the eight hpt's but the doc calling and saying it was negative scared the crap out of me. Yesterday was horrible and draining. I cant get enough sleep as it is ( i def. have the tired symptom) then they put my brain through the ringer but i am just glad it is over. My ob called (regular physician did the b/w) and said to ignore what they said and keep taking my progesterone. Oh yeah they moved my appointment up 2 whole weeks . I go in on monday 02/18 to see the sac. I cant wait but i have to go by myself, and that sucks

mum- i know what you are talking about my poor dh says i need to be nice but i just dont feel like talking

Blaze- i am so sorry about the bleeding sweety but so happy you got to see your little one.

What is the deal with the herb tea, what does it do?

Happy Valentines Day to all you ladies and your beans!

I'm ok - the usual tiredness, a little nausea..... Cannot wait until Monday when I hopefully get to see a heartbeat!

As for decaf coffee - I drink it, and think it's ok. All the literature on this still says that problems arise when people drink caffeine in excess - 4 or more cups of regular coffee a day. So, I think decaf here and there is fine. I drank it all through my pg with dd and had no issues - I refuse to be someone who wraps myself in cotton wool ...Don't get me wrong, I'm very careful and wouldn't do anything to jeapordise this baby, but 10mg of caffeine a day will cause no harm.

However - herbal teas they don't know about yet as some of the herbs may have adverse affects. Better sticking to things like fruit teas and chamomile etc.

Take Care!

I stay away from decaf coffe, not because of the caffeine but becuase most decaf is decaffeinated through a process that uses solvents to remove the caffeine. I am not keen on having anything I put in my body processed with solvents, prengnant or not. There are some decaf coffees that use a water process for decaffeination. I would think those are safe to drink.

I love Dr. Pepper and I would go crazy for a fountain diet coke with ice. MMMM.

We are going away with another couple this weekend to a cabin on the Northern Ca coast. There will be much hottubbing and cocktails. But not for me . Not that I am complaining, minf you. I just want my cake and eat it too!!!! I will stay inside working on the puzzle and go for some walks on the beach.

For those of you craving sodas I have been drinking caffeine free coke and it is actually pretty good. I have Sprite too but it just isn't the same.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
I am also having a great appetite. Had chilli this Am and it was super good. I have been craving for spicy food: Korean, Indian, Mexican etc. Well I am enjoying while I can as I know the nausea will be coming pretty soon.
In regards to decaf coffee I agree most of them go thru a chemical wash to remove the caffeine, but there are the water washed ones. In regards to herbal teas many can induce uterine contraction even chamomille. So check before you drink. I like the suggestion of flaming pajamas for the Japanese Barley tea.
I know if might be an overkill, but after 34 shots, eggretrival and transfer this little sacrifices is nothing and keeps my mind busy.
