Oh Blaze you have my sympathy on the constipation! Honestly I would rather be throwing up than constipated! The times I have been, I was in so much pain!

Good luck to you on Tuesday too! It's so exciting!

Christie - Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! I have found that Fiber 1 bars and lots of water are helping to keep things "regular". But if I don't have a bunch of fiber, I'm in trouble. I hope you find some relief soon! But how exciting that you feel your little one kicking so regularly. I have only felt it sporadiacally and never really distinctly. I am so anxious for the time to come when I feel him all the time!

Have a great 3-day weekend everyone!

Dellema - I am so sorry you are feeling so rotten. It seems that some women just don't feel that great their entire pregnancy, but on the brighter side, I have a good friend that had m/s until 18 weeks and then it magically went away, so there is hope for you yet!

Christie, constipation is the worst. I was really constipated my first trimester, but it seems to have resolved somewhat. I do keep on top of it with water and fiber but I am still not as regualr as I was pre pregnancy. I am sorry. It is really no fun at all.

My hip pain is better for the most part - The prenantal massage was godsend. I am getting another next week. Right now my right lower back and hip are very uncomfortable when I walk, but I can still sit and lie down - and I slept great last night so I am really thankful for that. My boss has been so flexible letting me take time out of work to swim and come in a little later when I need to.

Chie and Che_girl good luck on your US today!!!!

Dellemma- I hope you feel better soon! Feeling all run down is not a good thing.

Okay ladies, I just came from my anatomy/gender test. Everything looks good, on target, baby weighs 9 oz and is moving around like crazy. The doctor said that she did not recommend to go for the amnio because she really didn't think that it was necessary with such good report.

My plan was not to know the sex until delivery time but when the tech asked if DH and I wanted to know, we asked him if the baby was being modest or not, the tech said "nope, the baby is showing the goods very well!". . . DH and I just couldn't resist and we both said "Yes, we want to know"

Ready?! It is a little girl!!!

All along I was thinking it was a boy and what a surprise! DH and I have to work on getting a name for the little princess.

Good luck chie!

Congrats on the baby girl! I can't wait for everyone else to find out.

Sorry to hear of all the ailments!!! I now have swelling - could barely get my rings off and I think now they are off for good, cankles made their appearance and I am so, so sore - I think from overdoing it moving and bending and whatnot but I am definitely being reminded that I am prego right now!

Netty I am so excited for you!!!!

I have to admit I am very happy you decided to find out - for completely selfish reasons of course!

It is true, we are a sorry lot with our complaints. But I (and I know everyone else feels the same) still feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be pregnant!

Good luck tuesday girls!!!! I am so excited for you to see your little ones again!

I am laughing so hard right now! CANKLES! I keep staring at my ankles at night just hoping they stay a semi-normal size once the heat kicks in again.

I definitely feel lucky, lucky, lucky and hope it continues. That doesn't mean that pregnancy doesn't do really weird things to your body. I was telling my dh last night that it is really odd because when you see someone pregnant you feel like you know how they feel uncomfortable, tired, emotional, etc. but when you are actually going through it, it is just such a unique, unexplainable experience from physical to mentally it is all just a complete body and mind take-over (or at least for me). I am so, so grateful that we are able to experience this - my dh and I (he is adopted too) were pretty much decided on adoption and weren't hell bent on biological children or actually being pregnant, but I have to say that I really am glad that we have been given this opportunity just to know what prego people really feel like, or at least how I feel prego. I don't think it makes me any more or less a mother but it is just neat (swelling, aching back, oddly round belly, and crying bouts included) - and I have been really surprised that my dh and I have discussed the looks of these children even though we always talked about how that didn't matter and now we are insanely curious!

Shellie, DP is adopted too and we may well adopt later on. I agree with you wholeheartedly though: I feel so blessed to be able to have this experience. I don't think that bearing chidren vs adopting makes you any more of a mother either and I think people who adopt do not love their adopted children any less than their natural children. One reason I really wanted to be pregnant was because I wanted to experience that unique part of being a woman. I think I forgot that that unique part comes with cankles included at no extra charge . Of course I am kidding. It is all worth it. Even the limp I am sporting now.

Congratulations Netty! There's no way I could have waited to find out.

Should I be concerned that I am still not feeling any baby movements? I felt one distinct movement a little over a week ago, and nothing since, and I will be 21 weeks on Monday.

I am also adopted. We also looked into adoption, but decided to try IVF before my endo got too bad. It's possible that we will look into adoption in the future, and DH is interested in foster care.

Hope you all have a nice holiday weekend!
