Holly - I am so glad you & baby are OK. How scary!! Now you absolutely have to take it easy...no matter what. And, like you said, hopefully this is just a growth spurt & the contractions will stop soon.

Netty - Great bump!! :-)

Ok, we started our registries! We decided to register at Babies R Us and JC Penney. We found both our furniture & bedding at JC Penney, so I'm glad they offer a registry option. This is all beginning to feel VERY real!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Laura, Thanks It sounds like you had with the registry. I am still debating on the breast pumps, anyone thinking that far yet? I heard the Medelas are the best but honestly, I think they are overrated, hence pricey. Renting is not somthing I have for an option because I want to invest into something that I can also use for my other children.
I have registered for this one. . . anyone has any thoughts on this?
Lansinoh Double Electric Breast Pump
Okay ladies, the following is more of my baby bump, I apologize for the undie and lack of other clothing but you have to have a good view of what my belly looks like.
These two are 19w5d. The front picture shows you my almost 5 inches long scar from my myomectomy. Doctor said that he would reuse the same scar and for the C-section, it would be a little longer ~ 7 inches long. He also mentioned that he would try to repair the scar because it is raised and he gave it a medical term that I can't remember what it was he said. I don't know about you, but my nipples and that scar has gotten darker and bigger

Let's meet your family!

Are you tired of me yet? I just learned a more efficient way to post pictures, so I am on the go

This is a picture of DH and me from last trip in May to Dominican Republic. Come on! Let's meet your loved ones.

And the second one is one of my fur kids, Che, he is saying "momma, let's talk to your October buddies, hurry, hurry"
Yesterday, we bought the crib/furniture set and it will arrive in August. . . .AND, so happy because we finally have a name for our girl. . . ELLA SOPHIA

Holly - hope you are getting plenty of rest this weekend. Did you get to talk to your OB, or just the ER docs?

Netty - you look great! I have several smaller scars from lap surgeries, and they are definitely getting darker. And now that my belly button is stretching open, I can see the scars in there as well. I love the name Ella, it is on my list of girl names.

Good idea on posting pictures of our families, I will try to post some later today.

DH and I (mostly DH) started cleaning out the basement yesterday in order to start moving some things around so that we can turn our office into a nursery. I was completely exhausted and I didn't even do that much. Our dining room is getting crowded with baby stuff, so I am ready to get started on the nursery. I didn't realize that it takes a while for baby furniture to be delivered. I suppose we need to make a final decision and order ours.

Thanks Tabitha! My belly button is also stretching out and I can see the tiny scar that once I had from the laparoscopy, it is now bigger and darker.

This is a picture of nursery, it is our current spare/guest room and I still haven't put away the stuff from our last vacation. Obviously lots of work to do here i.e. painting the walls, move the furniture out and clean. oy vey! my back hurts just to think about all the work I have ahead.

All this time, DH and I have been using separate closets and drawers. My clothes are in the drawers and closets in our master bedroom. DH's clothes are kept in the spare room. So, it is going to be interesting how we are going to combine his stuff with mine. The only solution I have is to move his to the basement and some to the computer room's closet.

The weather here in Connecticut today is gorgeous. I hope everyone has a happy Sunday

Ok, Netty, how do you post pictures? I seem to only be able to post the link. Once I figure this thing out, I will post a picture of me & DH.

Our nursery furniture is back-ordered until the end of June. I just can't wait to get it!! Our nursery is currently home to a spare couch, a tv, and our elliptical machine. We are moving things around in our office & trying to make room for the elliptical. I just want to get the room empty so that we can begin to paint & get it ready!

I haven't begun to think about a breast pump. I know a number of people who have rented theirs. But, like Netty, am hoping to have one or two more children if possible, so it would be nice to own my pump. Any thoughts/suggestions on brands would be helpful. Medela is the one I hear the most about.

Netty - DH and I have the same closet situation, my stuff is in our bedroom closet, and his stuff is in the future nursery closet. As we are cleaning out the basement yesterday he pointed out where he is going to build his walk-in closet. Huge relief that we won't be sharing a closet!

Morning ladies!

Happy to report that it's been an uneventful weekend. Just a few BH but definately not the 8 in an hour like on Thursday. More than likely just the baby growing.

Netty you look so cute!!! Seeing all your bump pictures I realize how small I still am and are jealous that you ladies actually look pregnant and not just fat like I do! The nurse at the hospital kept telling me how small I was and now I see why. The baby measured on track at the last ultrasound so I'm not worried yet but we'll keep an eye on it.

It's so exciting to hear about all the nursery plans. We bought a toddler bed for my neice yesterday so when we get the room situated, I'll take pictures of the room the kids will share and post them.

Tabitha - we have the same closet situation but I have to admit that I have a huge walk-in closet so it isn't a horrible hardship to share - now we just have to move all the stuff. My dad is coming in town this weekend to help with moving the guest room stuff and creating the nursery so the prep will begin!

Holly - I have had a few BH contractions and they are a bit alarming. They don't hurt but I just thought it was too early to be feeling them, especially since it is my first (and second :-0). Good to hear things have calmed down - I've had a couple throughout this morning and had a couple last night so I am not freaking yet.
