Kory, I am praying for jonathan, Jayson and Katlee. Jonathan is certainly a little fighter! Keep the other two warm and snug for awhile longer if you can. We are all thinking about you and sending you much love. If anything your strength will help carry them through.

All my love to you and your family.

Kory you and your family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Sounds like he is a great little fighter and hopefully the other two will stay cozy and put for a while longer!

I had my follow-up anatomy scan today and everything went pretty well. They did find a bright spot on the heart of the little girl which is a soft marker for downs. It scares the crap out of me and against the advice of my husband and doctors I have been researching like crazy which is scaring me even more. I really wish that we had done some of the other testing - the nuchal scan, triple/quad screen, etc. but we were advised against it. I saw both the high risk doctor and my regular ob today and neither was concerned at all - they said that it is a very, very soft marker and that there were no other anomalies so they are definitely not recommending amnio or anything of that sort and are basically just considering it "normal." From what I can tell this brings my chances of down's to about 1 in 219 based on my age vs 1 in 500 without the marker. Normall those odds would be reassuring but we have defied so many odds before this to get pregnant and with twins at that that the numbers aren't as reassuring as I would hope.

Fossie, I completely understand your worry, I had the same with the results of my NT scan which gave us a 1/250 chance of downs. But to put it into perspective. 1/219 is only a 0.5% chance that the baby has down or 99.5% chance that your little girl is normal. It is all so scary, but translating these numbers made me feel a little better. Those are pretty good odds.

Kory - your little one is definitely in my prayers. I know you are doing everything that you can to keep your other two in a little while longer. You will be in our thoughts, update us when you can.

Shellie - sorry you are having to go through so much worry. It sounds like your doctors aren't too concerned, and Claudia is right, the percentages of everything being fine are still very good.

It is very, very hot here in Virginia.

Kory - I sure hope all is well with you & your little ones today! You've been in my thoughts & prayers.

Fossie - I'm so sorry for the scare. It's not easy to hear that anything could possibly be wrong with our babies. I felt the same way when I heard about our boy's enlarged kidneys. But I am just trying to trust the doctors and believe them when they say not to worry. It's easier said than done...but it works most days. :-)

Claudia - I was out your way this morning & thought of you! I have been craving breakfast from the Rose Cafe tent at the Ferry Building, so I dragged my DH out of bed early this morning. It was delicious!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Shellie - it seems like the worry never ends. With neither doctor being concerned I think that they are just trying to cover all the bases. I believe your little girl will be just fine.

shellie, i know how you feel. right now i have the 1 in 178 odds and even though in normal cases i might love those odds, i don't like them one bit. i have my appt w/ a specialist to have a level 2 u/s on the 17th. i think your little girl and my little guy are going to be just perfect! but it's hard not to worry, i know.

dh and i had a LONG day of shopping yesterday! i got a NEW CAR! woohoo! we also ordered a crib and dresser. it will be here in 6 weeks, i CANNOT wait!

my computer is finally working, so here's a picture of the crib and dresser. i think it is so much prettier in person.

Amy - congrats on the new car. Love the crib and dresser you picked out. I saw this set in person as well and it is very beautiful.

We get to pick up our crib today. We cleared out the room that is going to be the nursery and will start priming and painting in the next couple of weeks. This is so much fun. I love it.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Amy, I love the color and also the crib and dresser.

My nursery furniture will arrive in ~ 11 weeks, I can't wait! Not that it is backordered, I was just told that is the average time to arrive. I ordered mine at USA Baby.

Ugh! DH is procrastinating on a few things that I would like him to finish before we can get our hands to prepare the nursery. I just don't like when he has unfinished projects here and there, instead of finishing one project to move to another, he just leaves one half finished and then starts another one, leaves that one half finished . . . and starts another one (where is the emoticon for furious? )
We are going through a heat wave since yesterday and he said that he can't finish painting the sunroom because it is too hot. I totally understand that. I didn't say anything to him just to see what he was planning to do today inside. Instead, he just sits on the couch to watch the History channel. I said to him that I'd wish I could be more mobile to do stuff around here, his response was "what do you want me to do?". Well for one, I have been up since 5:30 am to give myself a headstart with the laundry. I love hanging clothers in the yard, love the smell! I did his laundry, my laundry and the furkids' beds. So I told him that he can get his hands on the recessed lighting in the living room. He looked at me, got up and got going! Geez! Why do I feel like I am being a sergeant around here? Sorry about the ranting! My best friend is at the beach today and you are the only gals that I can share this with until she gets home.

Is it hot where you are? Here is steaming hot !!!

I've been really anxious to start on the nursery, too. But I think I have overwhelmed my DH. So I told him that we can take the next 2 weekends off from baby-stuff. Today we are heading to the A's vs Angel's game. Hopefully he'll be up to clearing out what will be the nursery in a few weeks. I can't wait to begin painting!!

Amy - I really like your furniture. We ordered ours in the espresso color, too.
