Chandra and Kay, congratulations on the excellent scans -- and the girls!
 Did the docs also check bones, the facial structure, etc.?

Me: 33, PCOS DH: 34, perfectly healthy best dog ever  TTC since 3/07 5 cycles of Clomid - no luck 2 IUIs with injectibles (10/07, 11/07) - no luck 1st IVF cycle - 2/08 1st Retrieval - 2/18/08 (19 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, 3 ICSI fertilized and transferred, 2 non-ICSI fertilized and frozen as grade A blasts) 1st Embryo Transfer - 2/21/08 (3 embryos: 2 10-celled B's and 1 9-celled A) 1st Beta - 3/3/08 - 145! 2nd Beta - 3/5/08 - 325!  1st U/S - 3/12/08 - 1 little yolk sac 2nd U/S - 3/19/08 - 1 little heartbeat Graduated from the RE, onto our new OB - 4/3/08 - heard the hb, 160 bpm 5/2/08 - NT scan (so far, so good); hb 174 bpm 6/18/08 - Anatomy scan (went well and it's a girl!)

Also, Kay, at what point were you told boy? (With you and Kristen going from boys to girls, I wonder if my anatomy scan will go the other way. Maybe the girl the doc predicted might be a boy after all?)

It's a boy!!!!
I am so excited and happy!! I feel like I'm going to cry! We changed the name (AGAIN!!). We are pretty sure that it's going to be Dylan Michael instead of James Dylan. My dad's middle name is Michael and Jeremy's dad's middle name is Michael so it just seems right. I've got some good pictures. I don't have a scanner though and the cd rom that I got doesn't work! Grrr. Melissa, my husband and I are going to the Journey, Heart, Cheap Trick concert in St Louis in Sept.

Eggy, I believe it was around 12 weeks. It was at our NT scan. I think if a mistake is made it is more likely saying it is a boy and turns out to be a girl. I think the anatomy is very similar early on. Kay

Kay ~ It is nice to hear from you again! And Congratulations on your scan and your little GIRL!!!!
Chandra ~ Also happy to hear that your scan was uneventful and you've still got a little girl in there Leah ~ Congratulations on your little BOY!!! Have you seen the new lead singer for Journey? The guy is from Singapore I think. He sounds EXACTLY like the original singer and the band found him on YouTube! Crazy, right? It is going to be a great show. I just want to nap until my scan on Friday. I haven't been this excited about a doctor's appointment since my first ultrasound. Friday cannot get here fast enough!

Leah, it is like the guy is lip syncing to Steve Perry's voice! It is so bizarre to watch, but I can't wait to hear it live! Oh, and I was wrong, he's from the Philippines, not Singapore.

The u/s tech took measurements of everything, her arms are measuring bigger than her legs...LOL The the maternal/fetal medicine doc (high risk doc) came in and looked also and decided to have me do another u/s in 4 weeks so he could look at the umbilical cord. He couldn't look at it yesterday because she was sitting on it.

Eggy-I think early on the parts look like boy parts, so if they saw a girl at your NT scan then its probably definitely a girl. I've heard more stories where people were told they were having a boy and then later told a girl, instead of vice versa.

Congrats too everyone on all the wonderful scans!!! I am so happy about all the little gilrs and boys!!
The strangest thing I have been having dreams almost every night that the baby is a GIRL,, I have my scan on friday I wonder if its still a boy??? Crazy my scan was a little over 12 weeks hmmm wierd I am so happy to go and see the family but its gonna be a busy one,, we have a wedding and I am gonna start my registery!! Oh yeah I got my first maternity dress its ok it was hard to fit everything that fit my boobs was big everywhere else but I found a decent one I hope it doesnt look like a tent!! Have a great day everyone!!
