You ladies rock!! Chandra ~ thanks for the extra info on the billing stuff. I did a little medical billing and collections, but it was a very long time ago.

So DH finally got the scanner hooked up and running (and I took a little cat nap too ), so here's the first look at our little babybean. The pics are kind of hard to make out. The baby is the straighter part on the left side of the "blob" inside the void and the yock sack is attached on the right side of the blob in the void (kind of looks like a circle at the top right of the baby). This certainly doesn't look very human, but it had a really strong little heartbeat!!

We went to Ocho Rios too and stayed at Riu that time. Did you do the falls? That was CRAZY! Italy is the next big vacation, but that wil have to be for something like our 10th anniversary now. DH was speaking at a conference in Ireland over the summer three years ago and I just HHHAAD to go with him...it was just awful!!! No, obviously, I'm kidding. I think everyone should see Ireland before they die. It is more beautiful than you can imagine. We did an 8 day tour by ourselves before he had to speak and travel for work. They have really neat packages that makes customizing easy. We stayed at 3 bed and breakfasts all over the south, a really nice hotel in Dublin, and a castle back toward the west near Shannon. We kissed the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle, and ate yummy "Irish Breakfasts" every morning. Driving on the other side of the road was pretty weird too. There were sheep all over the roads and large boulder property walls all over, just like the pictures. And the people in Ireland were the nicest, by far, of any people I've met on other vacations. There was a miscommunication though and I ended up staying by myself in Galway City for 5 days. I wasn't very happy at first b/c I was all by myself in the middle of a freak heatwave on the 3rd story of a bed and breakfast without air conditioning and without prior knowledge that that was how it was going to be. As the days went on though, I got a schedule down and that made me feel better. I found a little beer garden down the street and just sat there for hours reading and drinking Guinness. I met some interesting people too. Of course while I'm "stuck" in Galway by myself, my lovely DH was traveling through London, Paris, and some town in Germany eating 5 course dinners with specially chosen wine...aarrgghh! So DH has promised to take me to Paris some day...we'll see...

We did Jamaica for our Honeymoon. I believe it was Rio in Ochos Rios. We did the Dunns River Falls, OMG it was so hard but we felt so good in the end. We also went to Ricks, where people were jumping off the trees into the ocean. We had to jump of the boat to swin to sure and dine there LOL. Great.

We were planning to do a cruise next year....(plans may have to change to the following year) and my husband wants to go to Europe so bad. That has to occur some day.

Melissa- Congrats on the great u/s and a stong HB! That is such good news!!

I had a really hard day today........ I am a board member running a home school cooperative (we have over 300 students).... we were short handed today and all HEdoubleLL broke loose. I had to kick a kid out of our school for bad behavior, after much drama. I hate conflict and I was smack dab in the middle of it all day. I am seriously thinking about resigning . To top it off I got home and started cramping only to realize I FORGOT MY PIO this morning!! Can you believe that?! I sure hope everything is okay with my lil one. How could I be so STUPID?
I sure needed to vent. Sorry for unloading.

Its little heart was just flickering along at 112 beats/min. The tech said that was good, so I feel good about it too. The baby is measuring at 6w3d...right on schedule!!
My doc bills all prenatal visits to the ins after delivery so we have to sign some sort of contract saying we'll stay with my OB until the end. I'll have to make that decision on 4/21 if I don't find another office to go to instead.

You give me more hope. I have my first u/s on Tuesday the 1st and I am terrified. As I read your earlier post, if felt like I wrote it. I am glad the news was great.

Also, I have never heard a Dr have their patient sign a contract like that. It makes me nervous. What happens in a couple of months, something was done that bothered you and you wanted to change Drs, would they still be entitled to payment??? Have I mentioned that I hate ALL contracts!!! LOL

Unload anytime here. Sorry your day was so hectic. Just take care of yourself. Relax, sleep or watch tv. Don't try to think about today or Monday. I have worked in stressful jobs and it took me a long time to learn to turn myself off. Good luck. Sonia

Thanks for your well wishes everyone. Was anybody able to see the pictures that I attached to the post at the top of this page? Just click on the link that says "sign in"...I don't know why it says that...let me know of they don't come through.

Sonia ~ one of the ladies here said this morning that they're terrified before every u/s...I guess it doesn't get easier Yours will be wonderful too!!! Did you stay at RIU in Ocho Rios? We were there...nice place. Yeah, the falls were crazy! I wasn't sure if I was going to make it either.

Kay ~ I'm sorry your day was hectic. I'm a teacher, so I know ALL ABOUT kids who can't behave. I had one child last year that I had to make walk the back of the room sometimes b/c he wouldn't stay awake in class. Or I would have to spend the day tapping his desk to wake him up. My principal was a spineless weasel and the mother just lied to us about how he had a regular bedtime and didn't have a TV in his room. Yeah, right lady! Sorry, I could go on and on and on...I won't. Home schooling is interesting though. We've got a great elementary school here, but the middle school sucks, so we'll see how that goes...

Am ~ Thanks so much for offering to let me use you as reference. I'm going to call your OB's office this week. Do you think they'll grant an interview?

As I mentioned in my ranting post earlier I did a stupid thing and forgot my PIO injection this am. I took it about 6 hrs late. Now I am cramping and worried that something could be wrong. Do any of you know if being that late on the injection could cause a m/c? I would never forgive myself!! Help.

I'm so sorry Kay, I just don't know...Surely there is some sort of build up in your system and a matter of a few hours wouldn't cause such serious problems? Remember, the cramping is normal as your uterus stretches. It is probably a coincidence, that's all. I hope someone who is on PIO will chime in tonight and help you better!!

Kay, doing the PIO a few hours late wouldn't cause a miscarriage. I have to admit, I've taken my PIO hours late before and nothing has happened. I think the cramping is just a coincidence, you probably just need to take it easy and relax. As long as your not spotting, you should be fine.

Hey

Melissa, I am unable to see the pic. When I try I get this message "Windows Live Hotmail wasn't able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues you report." Unsure what it means.

I also hope the worrying lessens after the 1st trimester. It is so not good for the baby. It so makes me smile to say the word baby LOL.

Kay, it will be fine. One time during my 2ww, I took my shot about 4.5 hrs before my time. Nothing happened. I am also on progesterone. I think because of the amount we take daily, are numbers are probably higher than most in the 1st trimester and that missing a dose or taking it early, probably does not make that much of a difference.

Sonia

Okay see if this link does better. DH is the expert on this stuff, so if this one doesn't work, I'll get him to look at it.

Kay ~ I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I can imagine it would be scary though.

Melissa - I'm unable to get into that link still... I have a live account, but it never gets me to your pictures...grr. I'm sure they're awesome and I look forward to seeing them.

Kay, please don't beat yourself up too much. I go for bloodwork every Friday and I'm supposed to take my shot 2-4 hours before hand. So last week my 'shot plan' fell through (dh was still out of town) and I actually did b/w BEFORE I took my shot. Sure enough my progesterone had dropped (from 55 the week before to 24). BUT remember they just want it to be above 20 AND you only missed your shot by 6 hours - theoretically I'd missed mine by 24 hours... So I think you will be perfectly fine. My bloodwork yesterday was back up again at 61. The PIO shots elevate your progesterone level much higher than the required 20, so even if it took a little dip, you'd still be in a good zone. I hope your position is less stressful in the future! Enjoy a relaxing weekend...
