Yay Parker!!! Georgia is crawling too...very shakily but definitely moving forward instead of backwards now. She has two teeth on the bottom and loves, loves, loves her vegetables. On the other hand, I can't get her to eat fruit. She has snubbed bananas, applesauce and raspberries so far, the second I get fruit into her mouth, she screws up her nose and mouth and then won't open for another bite. She ends up with mashed fruit all over her face as I'm trying to coax her to open up. Weird huh??? I can't believe she won't eat it because it's so much sweeter than veggies but she just doesn't seem to like it at all. Anyone else's LO fussy about food???

Parker just hates carrots we gave him a stage 3 food that had small pieces of carrots mixed in and he spit out every piece of carrot and ate the rest it was to funny

McKenzie is also in the crawling stage, finally moving forwards, I was so excited it was the best thing ever to see. She try's to stand & pull up and scares me to death!She also has two teeh both on the bottom also.

Rennae, I'm so sorry to hear about Avery's brace problems. I can't even imagine how difficult that must be for you guys. I can let Marlee CIO and I don't feel horrible about it b/c I know it is best for her, but I'm sure putting these braces on Avery must be one of the most difficult hurdles you will encounter as a mother.

Kristen, it is so funny how their little personalities manifest at this age. Some babies can't be kept down...squriming all over, getting into everything from an early age, etc, and then there are babies like ours...laid back "watchers". Ben is working with her to get her to crawl. He said she can get up on her hands and knees now. I didn't see it today b/c I was taking a nap.

Margaret, that's a little different that Georgia won't eat fruit. I've never heard of that. I guess if you had to choose b/t only eating fruit or only eating veggies, veggies would be better How does she do with texture/finger foods? Have you tried kiwi? I made necterines w/ rice cereal for bulk and Marlee loves that too. They aren't super sweet, maybe she would like that better.

This baby of mine eats everything! I ate lunch at a noodle house today and she LOVED trying the noodles from my lunch.

Our weather up here has been awful! rain, rain, rain, rain....awful! What do you guys do with your LOs on rainy days?

Oh, and about the nursing. Marlee does nurse less now. Some days she might nurse 6 or 7 times, but generally it is about 5 times and I don't nurse over night anymore. I nurse first thing in the morning, then she eats her solid breakfast, then nap, then nurse apon waking, lunch, another nurse at some point, afternoon nap, nurse mid/late afternoon, dinner, then nurse and formula bottle before bed.

So many babies are crawling!! I think Avery has a while yet before she's mobile, especially with the braces. She doesn't seem to interested, or capable, of trying to crawl anyway, and the braces don't help. We are having issues with them. Yesterday her little heels were red and becoming raw because of the way they are rubbing in the braces. They also still don't stay in position that great. I left the braces off all day and night yesterday and her heels look much better. I'm going to have to call the dr again today and see what else can be done. Sigh. I honestly had no idea it would be so difficult to get these things to fit properly.

Avery doesn't drink much less formula. We did drop a bottle, but just increased her other bottles.

Kristin - so sorry about the ear infection. I worry constantly about Avery getting one. I hope Linnea gets better soon.
