danielle- Im glad that you got a diagnosis, and that you also could see your baby wiggling around. Ive never heard of what you have, but I will be praying that it will clear up quickly! After all we go through w IVf it seems like things should become simpler, doesnt it!

people have some really cute names out there! Im starting to get excited about names too. My favorites are (yes Chandra- I finally got over it, and Im coming out w my names )
Soren Jedediah, (my dh is Jed, short of Jedediah)
North Harrison
Eden Pearl (just cant get over the idea of naming a sweet little newborn Pearl-I think all of them are so pearly and sweet!)

if you think that these names are weird-we cant help it--we're both from Berkeley!

I also like Serena, Savannah, and Scarlett. but I really think this is a baby boy.

eggy-...so Soren is a boy name w an S.

My waist is definatley thicker. and I think Ive gained about 5 lbs, but dr, thinks part of that is bc my hormone levels are still a litle high from twins. The twin I lost, and its gestational sac are still inside of me, and wont dissapear, I just learned. We lost it too late for them to dissapear. I will deliver a little starwberry sized baby along with the one that lived. A little bit sad, huh?

so, Im pretty set on the elective 15 week gender determination ultrasound. I think thats when we will announce--when we know gender, and a few more weeks have passed.

I checked the 3d u/s here in the Chicagoland area, and I haven't found too many places that do it, and the ones I have found, the earliest they would do it is 18 weeks.

So I don't have any real information, but I did talk to my OB. I haven't met her yet, but man, she's awesome (Amzippity...I don't know why you've been absent but THANK YOU for your referral!!!). She didn't think I was crazy at all! Apparently the lab at the hospital is having a computer problem and can't interpret my results but she's there in delivery and said she'll call me as soon as they page her with the results. She also said that I can come in on Monday for a "feel good" quicky u/s just to make sure we're on track. She said that it is common to feel better and loose symptoms around this time but she didn't want to tell me I was okay without proof one way or another. It is reassuring that she didn't just say "Oh, you're fine" in a dismissive way. She said that though I may be totally fine, my gut may be right too, and she wants to know for sure before "blowing sunshine"...It is nice to hear that I'm not crazy.

Thank you all too for your reassuring words. I've just been telling myself this all week and its effectiveness was wearing off. I need proof too. Boy I can't wait until the doppler works for me!!

Okay...so my OB called back and said my HCG was over 100,000. She said that I should feel more at ease this weekend with these numbers. I believe that the numbers aren't supposed to double anymore after the first several weeks...If I'm remembering correctly. Regardless, she knew my last number and said this was a great sign that everything is fine. I'm still going to go in on Monday for my "feel good" u/s though.

I feel MUCH better now and I look forward to seeing my little jumping bean on Monday.

Thanks Daney and SweetPea ~ This OB does sound like a winner...She could have totally told me last night that my numbers look good so there is no need for an u/s (esp. since I'm seeing her Wednesday anyways), but she didn't. The OB that did my IUI was way to rough and had NO bedside manner. I was terrified that I was going to have to go my whole pregnancy with her...dreading every time I met with her b/c I didn't know what terrible thing she was going to say to me...I feel SO fortunate that Amzippity told me about this OB. I'm new to the area and didn't have a clue who to see. I will be the youngest mom in my neighborhood so I couldn't ask my neighbors for help with doctor names. I don't know what I would have done without Amzippity's referral.

I hope that everybody else is feeling good still. I'm in a limbo state right now as far as my body goes. I have NO waist now. I can't wear my regular pants unless they have elastic in them, so I've got a couple of pairs of maternity pants. I'm not pregnant enough for maternity tops except that my bbs won't fit in my regular tops unless they're stretchy tees. Weird...I'm kinda half way between preggers clothes and regular clothes...

Melissa - I'm glad to hear your beta was so high. That had to put your mind at ease. And how great that your OB is open to bringing you in for an u/s on Mon! It's going to blow you away what you can see by now. Will your dh be there? I'm sure everything will be just fine. I have really lost a lot of my symptoms, too, btw. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe I'm pregnant. No sore bbs, don't have to go the bathroom as frequently, no m/s, only minor fatigue. Try not to worry (I know, silly to say!). Looking forward to hearing about your u/s on Monday!

Kristen ~ I was so excited that I had to get up to pee last night...ridiculous right? But in general I feel pretty darn good too. Well, except for this awful sciatic pain. I've over done it in the yard the last few days, so I think that's why I've got the pain. I've got way more energy then I did even just a week ago. I'm very much looking forward to seeing my little one jumping around like you and some others have been lucky enough to witness. I'm still feeling a bit reserved "just in case" but I am feeling much better since talking to my doctor last night.

I'll be sure to post my u/s update as soon as I can Monday. Thank you, as always, for all of your support ladies.

Well, here we go again. Woke up this morning with bright red blood and passed a clot. It looks like I'm never going to get out of this bed. Not freaking out this time, guess I'm getting used to it. Just bummed. I'm ready to start really enjoying this pregnancy instead of worrying so much.

Linda, I'm sorry you are bleeding again. That must be so frustrating. I hope soon you are able to stop worrying so much.

I've been getting really sick the last few days. If I don't eat every 2 - 3 hours, I get incredibly nauseous. Sometimes the eating prevents it or makes it better, but often it does not. I've also been really tired and VERY moody. With all the symptoms, I'm really feeling pregnant.
I know what you mean about clothes not fitting. I wore my favorite jeans last night that I hadn't worn in about 2 weeks - I couldn't breathe!!! Most of my pants are fairly uncomfortable. I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy some maternity stuff. I was really wanting to wait until after my 12th week, but I have to be able to breathe while dressed...
