Hi ladies!

Kristen- congrats on your little boy!

Chandra- sounds like you had a great NT scan. One of my friends at work has 2 different friends that both got their periods while pregnant (for 3 months). Neither one was trying to get pregnant so they had no idea that they were! Both had healthy baby boys.

And congrats on all the great heartbeats. This is getting really exciting now!

1. What's for breakfast? oatmeal made with whole milk, peanut butter toast, banana and large glass of chocolate whole milk...snack at 10:30- cottage cheese and a hershey dark chocolate bar.
2. What gender do you think your baby is/babies are? 2 girls
3. When is your NT scan? May 9th
4. How much weight have you gained so far? only 3 lbs Need to step it up even more- started underweight at 115 lbs.
5. What are your current symptoms? off and on nausea, fatigue, constipation (ouch!) and sore boobies

1. What's for breakfast? watermelon (I have to have watermelon everyday) and sausage
2. What gender do you think your baby is/babies are? boy
3. When is your NT scan? Not sure if I'm having one- I'll have to ask
4. How much weight have you gained so far? 0 due to m/s
5. What are your current symptoms? nausea, heartburn and fatigue. Did I mention fatigue

I'm craving things I never liked before...like McDonald's chicken nuggets. I think because they are so bland they don't bother my stomach. On the flip side...things I LOVE really turns my stomach in knots like...strawberries and pinto beans. Crazy how your body reacts when your preggos...

2. What gender do you think your baby is/babies are? Boy, but everybody else thinks girl
3. When is your NT scan? about 2 weeks
4. How much weight have you gained so far? 1/2 lb!!
5. What are your current symptoms? going to bathroom at night and sore nips

My fatigue is MUCH better and my nausea is gone. Generally, I feel like I have more energy, which is nice Lately, my Indian food cravings have really intensified. I broke down today and had the most WONDERFUL lunch. I have a feeling that they are going to see a lot of me over the next 6 months (which is why I was resisting the urge to go in in the first place). The man at the register said that a handful of ladies over the last year or so have come to eat their spicy dishes to induce labor and claimed later that they did in fact go into labor on the evenings they came to eat. Funny, huh?

I forgot to mention my other symptoms -- first and foremost, spaciness! (Hence why I forgot to include it the first time around.) I'm also tired all the time, and a bit constipated. But I've been taking a probiotic and Colace, which have made things much more pleasant. I love Colace so much, if we have a boy, that'll be his name.

I think it's so funny that at 5 pounds, I've gained the most of all of you so far. And here I thought I was doing so well! But it was really just in the first few weeks, nothing in the last three weeks. I wonder if it was from all the meds? Or from just lying around post ER and ET?

I cannot wait to get my energy back. My shortness of breath has decreased since stopping my progesterone injections, but I'm still too tired to hop on the elliptical or go to spinning class. Pilates is even wiping me out! (Not to mention lecturing in a classroom -- last semester, I could do back-to-back classes on my feet for three hours straight, no break, talking most of the time. Now, not so much....)

Chandra, how was your NT?

3. When is your NT scan?
4. How much weight have you gained so far?
5. What are your current symptoms?

1. wasa w/ peanut butter; fresh pineapple
2. boy (but husband thinks girl)
3. tomorrow (4/23)
4. about 5 lbs. (I blame it on the progesterone, and being too tired to exercise -- also, apparently, I'm pregnant)
5. breast tenderness, bloating galore, needing to pee all the time, moodiness, and -- in the past two days -- a yen for chicken salad sandwiches with avocado from Whole Foods

Off to class, so I won't be online until much later today. Looking forward to your responses!

Chandra, good luck with your NT scan (even though they don't give us results for about a week to 10 days!). But have a good appointment and please give us the scoop!

I didn't know we had a choice either, but after the u/s, the tech asked if I wanted to have the AFP done, I said yeah to that too. I went to the lab and had my b/w done.

Ok, so, school me - the NT is the u/s and the AFP is b/w? Do I have that right? Trying to keep track...I know we're doing the NT next Wed; unsure about AFP. I'll check.
