Beautiful names everyone!! I want to hear more. we need all the inspiration we can get!

Linda--I'll be there w you for the tuesday ultrasound. I bet those heartbeats have really increased. You know, they have similar numbers, and since they're fraternal, with totally different DNA combos, if there were a genetic developmental problem, it would be so unlikely that they would both have it. My totally unprofessional guess is that their heart rates reflect the level of development they were at, and not a problem, and that they will have progressed by tuesday. Good luck! hoping for the best.

Okay...long post, take 2...

Am ~ Your story is just heartbreaking, and I admire you so much for finding the strength within yourself to keep getting up in the morning and living your life. It is inspiring. I'm so sorry that you and your family had to endure this unfair tragedy, but I'm relieved to know that you were treated with such compassion and kindness at the hospital. Since DH and I moved to the state last June, I don't have anybody to talk to about doctors. Thank you so much for giving me the name of your doctors. I'll be calling the office in the next few weeks. I was really worried that I was going to be stuck with the OB I'm with now.

Sweetpea ~ to the group! Glad to have you! It doesn't really matter if you're due in Oct, Nov, or Dec. Babies are unpredicatable...like you said, for you ladies with twins you'll probably go in Oct, and this is my first baby so I probably won't go til Dec. Who knows? It is just nice to have a great support group to share with.

For names:

Our girl name is Marlie. We'll probably use Clair as the middle name, but that isn't written in stone.

I really like Riley for a boy right now. DH hasn't come up with any on his own, he just shoots down what I come up with. He doesn't hate Riley, so if he grows to like it, we'll probably go with that one. I like Drew for a middle name, but again, not written in stone.

Most family members know our news and a handful of my friends too. DH hasn't told any work buddies yet. He says he's waiting for the u/s next week. We'll see...

infertilitynovice - I feel bad. I wasn't trying to tell a sob story or evoke sympathy. I don't want to share what happened and how I felt completely with the wonderful people on this thread because I'm afraid it would make a lot of people afraid for no reason. Pregnancies are worrisome enough! No need for me to make it worse. I was just trying to explain what the hospitals and doctors did because I feel grateful that I was not at a different hospital.

Anyhoo, the office does book appointments quickly. Since you're not working it will be easier for you but I usually have a difficult time getting early morning or late afternoon appointments. It's not the biggest deal in the world, but with my husband and I both working over 45 minutes from the office, it's more convenient to have late afternoon appointments. My plan is to book all necessary appointments when I go in a few weeks so that the only things I have to worry about are "I'm so nervous I want to come in" kind of appointments. Granted, when I had some spotting in September and called the office, they had no problem booking an appointment for me even though neither of us thought anything was wrong. I called at 11:30am and got an appt for 1:10pm, the first appt after lunch. I could have had an 11:50 appt, but it would take longer than that to get to the office so I didn't think it would be a problem to wait. I am glad I was able to get in to see them quickly.

Okay, enough of that. I promise! I will definately try to type more cheery!

I'm unmotivated to work today, so I thought I'd come online and check out this thread. It updates so quickly now!

Am ~ Please don't feel bad. Yes, all of this is scary, because there is so much unknown and out of our control, but as I've said before, we're all here and we all share a common bond...so share...I'll have sad and worried days...I hope I can count on you ladies here to help me talk myself out of it. I'm here for you whether it is to celebrate the good news or share in your sadness over the bad news. You're not adding any worry to my boat, but if you want to designate yourself as our group's cheerleader, I'll be quite happy with that too

Mommy2 ~ I really like Logan and Hailey! Great names!

Dherbert ~ Thanks for your Easter wishes! To you too!

I'm planning to make a carrot cake w/ cream cheese frosting this weekend...mmmm....sounds so good!

Question: Is any one else experiencing soreness in their abdominal muscles? Goodness knows it isn't from exercising...too cold for that.

Wonderful 3rd beta Daney!! I'm sure you feel better...I did...

Where you on progesterone when your level was 31? Have your docs given an opinion about why it dropped now? My first level was 21.7 and the second was 22. They didn't test it again yesterday, b/c the doc says there's no reason if the levels are good. I'm just curious. Thanks!

Daney - Congrats on your 3rd beta!

Don't worry about the progesterone too much. The suppositories will help.

Are you going back for another beta? Your first three were so close together.

Melissa- I have so much abdominal soreness that I cant sleep at night. I had a little bit of cramping w my little boy, but nothing like this. I mean- I cant sleep for more than a few hours w out waking up and realizing that there is NO comfortable position. Its normal. All that ligament and uterus stretching. Just the beginning of all the fun to come!
that carrot cake sounds great! do you have a recipie that you like?
I love the name Clair. Totally underused too.

Mommy to Nathan-My favorites are Ayden William and Hailey

Leah-James is so classic! and Paige is another less known wonder.

ok, so my little boy found the huge bag of easter candy this morning, and instead of being the strick mom I should be and putting it away till sunday, I just sat down on the floor and started eating it w him. What a sight we must have been, a pregnant woman and a toddler, sitting on the ground munching on illeagal treats, with chocolate on our fingers!!

Ok ladies Im so proud of myself, I made it through the work day w/out wanting to put my head on my desk and take a quick nap, and I even worked a little over to make up for the hours I missed. I feel this is a major accomplishment w/ how lazy and tired I have been feeling the last few weeks. Tomorrow I will try try to clean the house. I think that's another reason Im usually so tired, I can't remember the last time I didn't wake up in the middle of night and could not fall back to sleep.

Congrats on the good beta Daney!! I'm sure the suppositories will bring it up!!
My DH and I don't agree on many names. For a girl we both like Madeline, Paige, and I love Parker- but he dosen't!! The boy name are more difficult. We both like Nicolas, but I wouldn't want it shortened to Nick. I like Hayden and Cooper as well, but he does not. He's quick to discount my names, but he has no suggestions of his own!! Once I'm out of my first trimester I'll get a baby name book, hopefully that will help!!

Good for you, Chandra! Maybe you're turning a corner in your symptoms...

I guess we're behind the rest of you...we've been TTC for over 4 years and we've never thought about or talked about baby names. I think it never felt real enough, you know? Even though things are going well on this cycle, we probably won't talk about it until after we find out the gender and then we'll probably take our time about it. For me, I haven't come to grips with the possibility this could actually happen yet. Anyone else feel that way?

Marie ~ You're blessed with twins and 3 weeks ahead of me...it makes much more sense for you to feel this way than it does for me. I did think about it later this afternoon and decided that perhaps I did probably stress my muscles a little the other day. It was nice enough to walk the dogs the other day (for a real walk, not just a poop walk) and they were going crazy. I had to pull on my youngest dog quite a bit to get her to walk in line with me and the other dog. I guess I could have used those muscles when doing that. That's the only thing I can come up with. I've been a total slug for months (I was walking on the treadmill until my BFP, just haven't gotten back into it) due to this crappy weather, so the smallest little bit of exertion could be the cause.

Mild twinges and pulling sensations remind me I'm pregnant, but I'm feeling pretty crampy right now, maybe a little more than ususal...I hate not knowing! If I were rich I might buy an ultrasound machine just so I could check when I felt nervous. Of course my baby would probably come out with 3 head due to the extra radiation...I know what I'm feeling is normal, I'm just really uncomfortable right now.

About the cake, no I haven't found one yet, but I love cooking.com and allrecipes.com...I've never found something there that wasn't good. I'll let you know how it comes out. I love to bake!
