She's adorable, Andy.

I've noticed that it's pretty quiet too. There's not much to report with Katy. She's doing just perfectly.

Awww!!! She looks sooo big now. She has really grown.

Well, were just trying to get into a normal groove around here. Dh's parent left yesterday morning.

Today was suppose to be a relax all day from everyone and everything day but that's not how it turned out.

A friend of ours needed us to watch her 4 kids so we had 8 crazy kids running around the house (actually they were really good...except my 4 year old son...who certianly lived up to his nick name "trouble maker").

Logan is doing excellent with breastfeeding now and my supply must have finally caught up. I only needed to use 1 1/2 oz of formula on saturday and haven't used any since.

But he does have a pretty demanding nursing schedule at the moment. He wakes up a couple times to eat at night (usually around 1,3 and 6) and then eats pretty much every hour on the hour during the day for 15-30 mintues. So, I feel like I'm nursing him non-stop. But he seems happy and content so he must be getting what he needs. It's nice to finally have eliminated the bottles. Hopefully, in time he'll start spreading out his nursing routine, but for now, I'm just so happy that we've finally made it to this point.

At the moment I'm just TIRED and still have a headache that didn't seem to go away with tylenol. I can't wait for bedtime to roll around and for life to get back to normal tomorrow. Dh goes back to work and the kids go back to school. So it will be nice to finally get into the swing of things again.

I LOVE my little man. I just can't put him down and can't stop kissing his little warm fuzzy head. He is too precious. It's amazing to look at him and realize that Dh and I made him. He's ours!!! It's such a beautiful blessing.

I'm anxiously awaiting my 5 week appointment....hoping the dr. will give me the go ahead to take a nice LONG, HOT BATH. It's been so cold around here.

I had a headache almost nonstop for several weeks after Katy was born. I think it was a combination of not drinking enough water, hormones, and weather. It seems to have eased up now, but I still occassionally get a pretty bad one.

That's great about the improvement in breastfeeding! I knew everything would work out for you.

I'm having surgery on Wednesday to remove my gallbladder. I can't wait... mostly. It seems every time I have a flare up, it's worse than the last one. I woke up Thursday night in absolute agony. I tried to call DH at work but they told me he was on a detail to the hospital (he wasn't ) so I ended up calling my parents in tears at about 2:30 in the morning and my mom drove up and brought us back to her house. I'm so glad there's an end in sight for this misery.

Hey Everyone,

Just checking in, things have been real quiet on this thread.

Jenn- how did your surgery go? Are you feeling back to normal yet?

We are doing great. Logan is growing soooo big. His weight was going up and down at first trying to figure out this breastfeeding stuff. Eventually, I had to just start supplementing with every feeding and right away his wieght took off. He went from 7lbs2oz a couple weeks ago, to 8lbs3oz and last week he was 9lbs. I haven't weighed him yet this week but he's still growing. He's just growing out of his newborn diapers and most of his newborn clothes.

He's been smiling and cooing and laughing a little. He can roll from his tummy to his side but that's it so far.

He's absolutely adorable and everywhere we go everyone is constantly saying how much he looks like my husband and how they could be twins. He does look VERY much like him, but every now and then I get a tiny glimpse of me in him as well.

I'll try and post some pictues of him soon.

I had my surgery a couple weeks ago and am feeling so much better. Two of my three scars are kinda funny.. one pulls in and the other pokes out

That's great that Logan is doing so well. Katy was about 11lb before I went from the NB diapers to the 1-2's that I had. Good thing I didn't stock pile those.. she's nearly out of them and I still have more than 1/3 of the 1 box I had. I weighed her earlier and she's right about 15lb. We don't go back to the pediatrician until around the end of March so I won't have another "official" weight until then.

You should come check out the Winter Mommies thread.. much more active than this one
