Wow jessica!!!I can feel your excitement all around on the other side of the world! Its contagious!!!!Loved the pics and video!!Thanks for sharing!Mine was definitely not as clear as yours!!! Sorry about the other baby but this little guy obviously wants all of mommy!!!!

I havent thought of any names yet either.I like unusual names and my other kids all have very different names so this one is going to be a challenge.
We are seeing another architect on Monday to come look at our house to see how we can possibly build on to make room for this baby!Yikes....Stressful!

We've been looking at several names for a while now (since our first pregnancy).

Our first baby would have been named Avery Lynne if it was a girl. We still love that name and it's definately a possiblilty for this baby if it's a girl.

We also like Emma Leigh or Emma Leigh-Ann

For boys...

I like the name Joshua, Zachary, Aidan

I don't know...I think it's time to get the baby name book out again and start looking.

I think my husband and I have finally decided on names. Initially I was against the name Sophie/Sophia just because it's gotten so popular, BUT I've caved.

G/G twins= Sadie and Sophie
B/B twins= Madden and Myles
G/B twins= Layla and Madden

I can't wait to find out what they are!!!

Rox, there's a whole thread on your question I have always heard the 12th week marks the beginning of the 2nd trimester, but if you divide 40 weeks into thirds, it makes sense for it to be the 13th week. I say whichever makes you happy.

Hi Ladies, what great u/s pics! Can you believe we're all headed to our second trimester!?

I love the names you ladies picked out. My DH and were discussing it today and we are pretty clueless - we have a few names we like, but nothing decisive. It all depends on if we decide to name the baby after a family member (we're Jewish and name after deceased relatives) or if we just go with a new name. I would love to name the baby after one of our grandparents, but it's so limiting!! I figure we'll just wait until we know if it's a boy or girl then start deciding. I actually have my appt for the gender scan. July 14th!! Seems so far away, I can't wait to find out!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend!

Yay for the second trimester!

Jess-that video is amazing! I can't believe how much he/she is moving around! Mine must have both been groggy, because I didn't get to see very much movement.

Morning sickness is definately kicking into high gear for me. Along with food aversions, smell aversions...etc. It's still the worse at night but I woke up this morning and had to get up an hour early because I just couldn't stay in bed any longer and I can't shake this quesy feeling.

I'm also noticing a LOT of breast enlargement/fullness happening in the last couple days....especially in the morning they feel pretty swollen.

I haven't really had any food aversions so far, but most of the time nothing sounds good. The only thing that I really feel like I can't eat is Mexican food. My mom took us all out for Mexican last week and it was all I could do to choke down half of the rather plain burrito I ordered.

The queasiness is definitely passing. I still get some every now and then, but it's not an all day thing like it was before. Now if I could just get the headaches to pass... hopefully my doctor will be able to tell me something about that on Wednesday.

I'm starting to get a little concerned that I haven't gained any weight so far. And I'm pretty sure my boobs haven't gotten any bigger yet either. Shouldn't I notice something by now??

Hi all. I just got back from a weekend away, and everyone seems to have been pretty busy.

Jessica - I'm so sorry about Baby B. But I'm so glad Baby A is doing SO well. You pictures are fantastic.

Jenn - Don't get me started on how doctors do billing! It drives me NUTS. But I'd contact your chiropractor and see if you can work something out. Having a doctor you really like and trust is priceless - and often the peeps who do the billing are different from those who do the scheduling and see you. Just a thought . . .

Also, when you have your doctor's appt, check in about not gaining weight, but all of my books seem to say that some gain weight and some even lose some during the first trim. I've gained weight, but my boobs have barely grown. They were actually bigger during earlier weeks of this pregnancy (maybe from the progesterone shots I was taking?). I know it can be disconcerting, but it looks from many threads like many folks have the same concerns as you at this point and all is fine.

Rox - I have the same question you do about when the second trimester really starts. I thought 12 weeks. But my fantasy of m/s ending at the beginning of the 2nd trim. was dashed when I puked on the first day of week 12. One of my books says 14 weeks. But that seems far out too. Then my mom just wished me happy 2nd trim. since I'm 13 weeks today. And she's a pediatrician, so I figure she must know. But I like Jenn's response - whatever makes you happy!

DP and I went away this weekend to visit a friend in Seattle - I was nervous about having m/s there, but I actually was fine as far as m/s was concerned - instead I got this horrible cold. I've been hacking and coughing and stuffy-headed for 3 days. I'm usually not averse to taking things to make me feel better, so I felt like a big baby feeling up for doing very little other than hanging out on my friend's couch. We did a fair amount of walking, and I think it just wiped me out. I know a lot of you have had bad colds already, and Jenn's headaches, and I'm feeling very empathetic right now!

I hope everyone's Monday is going well. We've got Jenn's ultrasound this week, right? Any others?

Rox-Yes! I should find out the gender as long they cooperate! And thanks for the compliment on the names.

BD-Sorry you're feeling sick. I ate pancakes this morning and they didn't sit well, but still nothing like the nausea I had from week 4-10/11.
