Hi all. Joline - Happy Anniversary! Whether you have sex or not, I hope you have a lovely day!

Thanks for bringing the sex topic up, Andy. Y'know, in my relationship, I'm usually a bit more of the instigator. But since I've been pregnant, and especially since we had the bleeding at 6 weeks after having had sex two days before, I've been really hesitant. But I'm also getting a little antsy for it. It's good to hear that some of you have been having sex with no issues with the pregnancy. Andy, I'm sorry your DH feels like you're not interested in him if you're not sleeping with him. Unfortunately I feel like that's not such an uncommon reaction. But I agree with the others - he's gotta learn to get over that more than you having to concede. He should certainly be able to look at your 15 year track record of being attracted to him, not just one phase of not being interested in sex while your pregnant. 15 years is pretty impressive!

OK, enough writing about sex from my computer at work.

ummm, that needs to change ASAP!! LOL

On a different note, had to buy a humidifer today as woke up today with bleeding nose. Also have bleeding gums!!! aghhh!!

I am starting prenatal aquafit tomorrow - can't wait!

Tomorrow is also first appt with my OB - hope to to at least hear the heartbeat since they arent giving me an ultrasound.

We were told my our RE to abstain from sex until after the first trimester. So, this past weekend we finally did! It was definitely a little uncomfortable for me, but it was great to be close in that way with DH (we hadn't had sex since the very beginning of March when I was just starting stims). We'll see how often it will happen as my sex drive changes all the time...

Rox, I'm so jealous that you are starting aquafit. You'll have to let me know how it is. I've looked EVERY WHERE in LA for a prenatal water fitness class and I can't find one. Anyone know of one in the area?

Thanks ladies! I had a wonderful anniversary. Unfortunately, no sex for DH last night. I was so exhausted, and he didn't even try (I think he knew). I might have given in if he tried, but he didn't so I was relieved. I feel bad, but it's easier to do on the weekends when I haven't worked all day. As soon as my butt hits the couch, it's over.

I had my first OB appt this morning. He is nice. He scheduled me in for an IPS ultrasound for 12:00 pm today. And we also booked another one for when I am 19 weeks. He didnt check the heartbeat since he is sending me off for ultrasound which is SO much better!! Cant wait to see the little one!! I have to go to work right afterwards so will try to post the pic's soon.

okay guys.I had to go out and buy maternity pants yesterday!I managed to find 2 pairs of jeans but the one Im not happy with.I dont like the waist where you have to pull the cords to gather them in till you get bigger.
My tummy is so big I cant hide it much longer at all.
Dh finally told his sister last night so now I think Im going to slowly start letting out my secret!

I actually like the full belly panel pants. They stay up better and are so comfy. The ones that have elastic and ties seem to kind of slip down to rest under my belly, which bothers me because I'm constantly pulling them up. I don't want to tighten them to much because I don't like anything squeezing my belly. Oh, the joys of maternity wear.

So far I have one pair of jeans, a pair of khaki capris, a pair of black dress pants, and black dressy capris. I'm going to hold out as long as I can with that.

Jo that should last for a while.Im not going to buy too much either.I have been wearing sweat pants up until now.But with twins Im sure things are going to get really large!!!Oh its such fun!
I have leggins which were really in here in summer and Im hoping will be again next summer cos then I can just wear them under the belly.
Isnt your heart just breaking for Audra?

OMG yes. What a roller coaster of emotions. I was SO excited for her when she got that BFP and so surprised to find out it was a chemical.

It's just so devastating. I'm glad she has some frozen for her next try.

I'm a social worker for the state. I did Investigations for Child Protective Services for 4 years, and this past January I moved to the adoptions unit.

How funny Joline. Now I feel an even closer connection to you. We've fostered for the last 6+ years (though we put our home on hold now) and have adopted our 4 children from the state (all seperate birthfamilies/cases). We've built some strong friendships with some of the social workers/placement workers/adoption workers etc. in our area. It was so hard when we finally decided to put our home on hold (probably for good, we don't anticipate taking any more kids anytime soon with the baby on the way and probably not until our kids are much older or out of the home). All the workers were so sad to hear we were closing up and it was hard for us as well. They were all like family to us.

I just wanted to share my update.

My ultrasound went perfect today. It was a little to fast but we were able to see our little one measuring right on schedule again (2 days ahead of schedule according to Dr's calculations....but I've always felt he calculated it wrong.

lol) but anyways, it must have been resting this time. It wasn't dancing all around liek it was last time. Every now and then it would strecth out it's legs or arms, then right before we were about to leave it brought it's hand up to it's mouth and Dr. said it was probably sucking it's thumb (

so precious...my heart just melted).

Our second sac is starting to shrink just as it should.

He doesn't anticipate any problems and said I should be fine until my first OB appointment in about a month.

I was so nervous goining into the appointment (like I always am). But now I feel so much more confident that everything will be fine and that this is actually happening...I'm just amazed. It's hard to believe.

I had a great day yesterday. Had an ultrasound and saw the little one moving around his/her arms and legs. I want to post the u/s pic but it says I am exceeding the KB limit...anyone know how I can makeit smaller??

I went to my first prenatal aquafit class last night. It was great!! I am definatley going back. There were only 5 of us last night...one lady is due today!! I met another lady who is due in November and she also does prenatal yoga..so I am going to check that out too. I had a really good sleep last night too!!
