Can't wait to hear the big fat beta numbers from you guys!

I kind of wish I had a 3rd one and thought about requesting one, but now I'm over it since I'm going in on Monday for the ultrasound. I'm kind of nervous, but excited.

I'm so bloated today, that I had to use the rubber band trick around the buckle on my jeans for extra room. I haven't gained any weight (I actually got on the scale, ugh), so I guess it's just bloating. I ordered a bella band on ebay, so hopefully that will get here soon and I can start using that too.

Im excited because my parents live in Arkansas, but my dad is in Kentucky on business, so DH and I are meeting him for dinner tonight. Too bad I can't see him more while he's here, but he's working 2 hours away, so we're meeting halfway.

Amy-I would definitely ask. My progesterone was 51 when I had my first beta, and I asked if I still needed to start the suppositories, and she said "oh yeah, get them started." I guess she is just being extra cautious. It sounds like the shots hurt. Owww. The suppositories are messy, but it sounds like a better option then the shot.

I know what you mean, Rebecca. I kept having horrible images of getting yesterday's phone call and hearing that my numbers hadn't doubled or even dropped. Everytime I caught myself thinking that, I had to consciously push those thoughts out and just completely believe that everything was going to be fine. And it was better than I was even hoping for I know yours will be absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to see that big lovely number!

Thanks sisters.

Joline, I know how you feel, I am not bloated, but I continue to have that cramping and so my belly is just sensitive, I am wearing all my largest pants and unbutton them every chance I get.

Jenny - I am sure I will mirror your beta success, I am meditating on 632 or better - that would be exactly what I need to be at.

Rebecca - Can't wait to hear your great BETA numbers. The way your last number rose, I just bet it will be more than that 632

The only symptom I have is that light crampy feeling similar to when AF is on the way. I am not bloated, no nausea, etc. It makes me worry. I so want to be positive but sometimes it is hard when you have previous losses. My DH says, "Relax, enjoy it. You are pregnant!"

How do you ladies make sure you keep the right positive frame of mind?

Marilynn, try not to worry too much about not being nauseous or anything. Approximately 30% of women never get any type of morning sickness at all and still have perfectly healthy pregnancies. And I think I've read that some women don't get m/s until about 5-6 weeks. It's hard to keep positive all the time, but for me, I just have to believe that everything's going to be just fine. It might be a bit irrational, but I just refuse to accept that this isn't it. So far, it's worked.

Good advice! Also-I got sick a couple of times during my last pregnancy, and it was a miscarriage, so you never can tell. I wouldn't worry. My friend is 5 months pregnant, and swears she has never felt a symptom!

Thanks Jenny and Joli for the support. You guys are great.

Jenny, I think you are right about proceeding with the understanding that everything is going to be fine. The baby, and me and my DH for that matter, need all the positive vibes we can get, right? I like your attitude very much. Thanks.

Is anyone getting overly hot? I am also dizzy and neasous, but it is supposed to be too early for m/s. I don't know what to think. I just want to lay down and not get up for hours.

Tami, I've had a few hot flashes so don't worry. I read something the other day (probably in my Mayo Clinic pregnancy book, but I'm not sure) about hot flashes being normal. And it's not too early for morning sickness; a lot of women start feeling sick around 4 weeks though many don't start getting symptoms until about 6 weeks. I've been told that Sea Bands work really well for the nausea, but I discovered last night when I bought some that they look completely ridiculous and I won't wear them to work unless I have on long sleeves to cover them up. They kinda look like something left over from the 80s. But if anyone is interested in them, they're about $10 for a pair at most drug stores. You can find them where you find stuff like Dramamine. I'm not sure if somewhere like Wal-Mart or Target would have them.

Oh and Tami, I see your third beta was great! Yay!!

Tam - I was having some hot spells, too. And I'm NEVER hot!

Roxanne - Congrats on the ! How exciting!

Rebecca - Nice numbers for your 3rd BETA!

Update - I went in for an "early" u/s today. I had some spotting (which seemed more like bleeding there was a bit of it) and I was so nervous. They told me to come in for the u/s. My husband is out of town today and our original u/s is scheduled for Friday. So I asked them only to tell me if it was bad news. That I did not want to see or hear anything if everything was OK. Just to know that things are OK. I want to do our first u/s together. So thankfully, things are looking good. He put in an order for progesterone suppositories that I can start on Friday (yeah - no more pain!) and we still have our first "real" u/s Friday. I can't wait! And I'm even more excited now that I know things are looking good. I'll keep you posted!

OMG That is so amazing, Rebecca!! So much for that 632, huh! Woohoo!!

Glad to hear that your spotting wasn't anything to worry about, Amy. I know how I felt when I was spotting with my ectopic and I know how relieved you must be to find out everything is still okay.

Amy that is great news - my friend spotted her whole first trimester on both children - so it could be normal for you and glad all is well.
