Traci, I am with you! I hope you are resting up adequately because if you dont, the bleeding comes back. And please ask your RE if you should continue taking the meds to stop the bloodflow even if it has stopped

So I had a bleeding scare for an hour on the 27th. Then I went in for an u/s a cpl of days later and both babies were fine. The next day (31st) I woke up to soiled bedsheets.... went to the loo and passed huge clots. Almost passed out with the bloodloss. I was rushed to the hospital and spent two days there. Continued passing clots for 4 days straight. Today my sbleeding has come down to spotting... But I am throwing up everything I eat. I just hope my bleeding doesnt start with all this pressure when I throw up!! So I have been put on complete bedrest for 2 weeks as this was/is a threatened miscarriage. The 2 days I was in the hospital, my babies were fine, but I havent got an u/s done after that. Hope they are doing well.....

Does anyone know what happens when you shed all your lining (as I think i might have!!) Would the babies get enough nourishment? I hope all these extra meds I have to take and the lack of nourishment doesnt harm my babies........

I was never given meds to stop my bleeding. I never bled clots though, just bright red and alot of it from 4am to 4pm so 12 hours total and about 3 maxi pads worth. He told me to take it easy but that strict bedrest wasn't necessary. I rested for 2 days but still got up and did things like fix lunch, wash clothes, etc. He told me it could come back again too.

It sure is scary. I'm sorry you are sick on top of it. Sounds like complete agony. I hope the babies are okay and I hope you are okay

Hi ladyR ...i hope u & ur babies r doing fine..... i dont know why this happens ?As i am also having brown discharge off & on ...i was so scared that i took 3 days off but that spotting is still there ,i am so tensed also ....& i know how much u r ...but may be ur baby c was coming out thats why u had all this....

I hope u r feeling better now & yeh take rest whenever possible

I'm so sorry for you ladies who are experiencing bleeding! That is scary! I hope everyone is doing okay though. I know us IVF ladies tend to bleed more often and it is normal so hopefully everything is alright.

Is anyone else having headaches? I have been having headaches for a week now - the worst was Sunday night but it is still there. I am going for acupuncture today and hopefully that helps but this is so annoying!!

Its not the 3rd baby passing..... my os(the hole in the cervix) was closed during my last u/s on sunday(dont know the status now though!!)
Traci, rest up honey. When you move around, there is a chance of the placenta detaching from the wall (for us ladies with bleeding scare)

I had headaches in the beginning but not anymore. I took today off from work.. I figured I needed a day away from people and I worked on one of my papers due for my grad class. I actually wrote it and turned it in this morning. only 2 more papers to go they are due next tuesday!!!

I feel sick to my stomach today i dont' know if it is ms or me imagaining things

question...i go to my reg ob appt on tue to have reg 1 st tri screening but last time she offered me and dh the option to have a detailed tri screening ...thats was optional ..so i booked appt ...and have resc. it bout 3 times already .... hould i go...were not high risk ...im just afraid to get a false pos ...what would u guy do

Oh Ritu- I am so sorry to hear about your ordeal. Just concentrate on taking care of yourself and those sweet babies right now.

Czech-girl-My DH was just telling me that I need to start doing some kind of excercise. I've been so sick, all I can do most days is lay on the couch. I got winded just walking up the stairs of the parking garage at the OB's office today. Time to start excercising! I'm not at all overweight-I weigh 108, just out of shape. All the extra blood flow makes my heart rate sky rocket pretty quickly.

We tried to hear the heart beat today. The OB said it was probably too early. We heard it for about 2 seconds when she first put the doppler on my belly. I think the baby got nervous with all the poking and proding and was hiding. As long as I know there is still a heartbeat, I'm fine.

I'm scheduling the nuchal scan for week 11 since we will be in NY weeks 12-13. If they can't get me in here at week 11, I'll have to do in in NYC while on vacation. Not ideal, but oh well.

I debated about all this genetic testing. I will be 35 in November, so I am technically high risk. I'm looking at the nuchal scan as an extra chance to see the baby and just hoping for the best. I am really concerned about false positives, but I decided that I would worry more if I didn't do it. Maybe talk to your OB and see what they suggest.

I know what you mean about being winded....I'm so fatigued lately. I try to catch a "cat-nap" on my lunch hour in my car!! Crazy, yes...but it helps. I have had no energy to work out at all, so I understand how you feel. I hope you feel better soon. Try lemon drops - they have helped my nausea (and they taste good!).

I had a headache for 4 days straight last week - it was awful! I know it is safe to take tylenol but I still don't like to take anything. I just kept massaging my temples.

I don't know what to do either and I am high risk being 38 - I'm afraid of false positives too! Does your doc think you should do it? What is different about a detailed one vs. a regular one?

Well, apparently i had/have a hematoma, that is what the bleeding is from (on the uterus wall). I am now on bed rest until my next u/s which is on tuesday! It has not even been 24 hours and I'm already bored!! My mom's going to bring me some movies and books tomorrow. So me and my dog will just spend the next several days in bed while DH waits on me! Off i go back to bed.

Sorry to hear about the bed rest. At least you have your doggie to keep you company and DH gets to wait on you!! Take it easy and rest up.
