Emily- I have had tight lower back pain too except its more on my tailbone! I feel like I cant walk and Im 80 years old!!!!

Well just got off of work and Dh cooked a pizza for us when I got home....YUM! I never get sick of Pizza.... oh BTW my sis-in-law had her baby girl LAST Valentines Day!!!! I think that would be such a fun birthday if I was a kid.. you could do Valentine themed parties!

I'm not too happy with my RE because right when I got the I called their office and they told me their job was done. They said to just find an OB now and go to him instead! What??!! What happened to some TLC?! Im kind of a basket case now because I am so worried now that I am out of their care...... I feel abandoned. I want someone to watch over me carefully until I feel safe to leave shallow waters.......

Roxane - I can't believe that. I'm surprised they didn't want to monitor you for a couple weeks. Who has been doing your Beta tests? Your RE or OB?

I'm actually looking for a new OB. My OB passed away from Lymphomo in April. It is so sad. He had delivered my daughter and 4 of my neices and nephews. He was such a great man. I don't really like the other OBs in the practice. So I'm looking around quickly for a new one.

I want to say my doctor keeps you until about week 10 and then passes you to the OB. I'm going to ask on Tuesday when I get my next Beta.

I know! It is so hard to find an OB that you like! I got my referral from my best friend. I saw her OB deliver both her babies and he did a good job so I decided to go with him. His office did my Beta #'s. I'm just so disappointed with my RE office! Next baby I have Im switching to a different infertility doctor. I probably wouldnt be so alarmed if my u/s was sooner. Its not for another 11 days and I am sooo impatient! I just want peace of mind...

I don't blame you. But, the good news is your Beta numbers are fantastic. So, I think everything is just fine. Are you thinking you may have multiples?

Haha... I dont know!!! It sure sounds that way with everyone's talk, but I looked up beta average and it could just be a singleton.... I will take whatever I can get!!!! Thanks for making me feel better

Thanks Missy! Next step is to have blood work and ultrasound on June 16th. At that point, I'll just be over 6 weeks. I think depending on those results, will determine when I'm released to an OB.

Thanks Roxane! It was 90 degree weather today in Boston, so I really feel like I'm incubating!

I'm sorry that happened with your RE. But maybe because your beta numbers are so strong, they feel you're okay to move on to an OB? You will be okay! Ultrasound day will be here before you know it!

I would love to join in. My estimated due date according to me is Feb 14th. I am trying to keep everything in perspective since I have only had one beta and am just getting over an emotionally devastating miscarriage.

Is there a due date buddies for people who have had losses? I feel like all I will talk about is how freaking nervous I am (I cannot sleep and was excited for about 20 minutes before the anxiety hit!). I don't want to be a downer to all the rightfully excited new moms! I tried the pegnancy loss section but it seems to not have much activity! Good luck to you all!

It definitely must be hard to believe after what you've been through. I don't blame you for being nervous, but the ladies on this thread have been awesome with any of my anxieties so I'm sure they will be the same for you! Your beta number looks great, so will that it keeps going up for you!

!!! 2 m/c's and an ectopic that occured exactly 1 year ago June 12th. I hear you completely. Come join the group Jencat, Shawna, Grits... (it is under pregnancy loss and very active). Lots of girls there have had m/c's and most of us are now pregnant or soon will be.
