Baby doing fine and stil growing. ( Thank you Jesus for this miracle ) 9/16:Anatomy Scan: It's a Girl!!!! 10/14:Next appt. 2/2/09: Scheduled induction.

well, i went in today thinking that i had another UTI and i hate to report that it has turned into a kidney infection. ugh!!!! the doctor reassured me that the baby is fine but i have to stay on antibiotics until after the baby is born. he said that 2 this close together isn't a good sign and that they will just keep coming back. i hate the idea of having to be on meds for that long but he said that it was better for the baby to do that then to have something worse happen. i have never in my life had even a bladder infection and now all of this. UGH on a lighter note, he wanted to see me back in 2 weeks so i got to move my anatomy scan up a week. YAY!!! now i only have to wait 2 weeks.

Denise - Congrats on having a boy! I love having a boy and secretly hope for this one to be a boy!
Cathy - I do feel like this pregnancy is very different than my first one! First of all, I am super paranoid about everything this time around. I am concerned that I'm not showing yet, can't really feel the baby yet...the list goes on and on. I am also feeling "aches and pains" that I don't remember feeling with my first. Leigh - sorry about the kidney infection. I hope you aren't in too much pain! Take care of yourself!

Me: 33 PCOS Dh: 32; low motility 1st IUI with RE: May 2005 Gonal F and ovidrel DS: 3 years old and my sweet boy! 1st IUI 10/07 gonal f and ovidrel 2nd IUI 12/07 gonal f and ovidrel but was bleeding. Turned out to be either ectopic or an abnormal pregnancy...  3rd IUI 3/28/08 gonal f and ovidrel Started gonal f injections 5/15 IUI on 5/26 6/9 - 1st Beta - 86 2nd Beta - 247 3rd Beta - 1,179 4th Beta - 2,799 U/S on 6/20 - saw one sac! U/S on 7/3 - heard hb 162! U/S on 7/31 - saw lots of movement  NT Scan on 8/4 - hb 175! Ob appt 8/28 - everything looks good! Anatomy scan 9/25 - still looking good! As of 12/12 - baby still looking good! Passed gt test and very happy! Taylor Rose is here! C-section Feb 9th 7lbs 3oz and 20 inches

Denise CONGRATS!!! Yay! First grandson on both sides?! You are breaking the trend! Leigh I hope your kidney infection goes away fast. I dont blame you for being worried about the meds, but it sounds like it will do your baby more good than harm. Feel better soon!!! (BTW Im glad they moved your appt up!) Im typing this in pink because my guess is your having a girl... LOL lets see if Im right! I'm not very intuitive Cat! I am dying for you to have your appt! It's in 5 days? Are you finding out the gender then??  I hope so!!

roxane- i had to laugh when i saw that you think we're having a girl. my husband is SURE of it. hahah we'll see!! thanks everyone, i'm already feeling much better, they gave me a shot of antibiotics while i was there and i think that it's kicking in already!!
deinse- love your pick on the belly pics thread, i decided to post my first as well. i hope to see everyone else on there soon!! congrats again on the boy...how exciting!!

Leigh-ugh, kidney infection? did they check for strep b? I had a bladder infection that was strep b. well at least you will be on antibiotics so it won't matter. how do you feel? I hope that the antibiotics control it for you.

Roxane - I hope you are feeling better, are you drinking lots of water? Leigh - I hope you recover from that kidney infection quickly, those antibiotics should do the trick. Renee - OMG - I hope that the immodium takes care of your GI issues and that there are no contractions in your immediate future. Donna - I think it is hard not to be paranoid, especially when you go through fertility treatments. We all want happy, healthy babies. Also, a certain amount of paranoia can be good. Honestly, I think sometimes, women who don't have the support we do from each other, could ignore something which could threaten the pregnancy. I hope those aches and pains get better. Neta - Thanks for for me. I think I need it.Denise - Congrats on the boy, how exciting! BTW - Denise and Leigh you both look great on the belly pics thread, I hope everyone throws a pic on the thread. As for me, just hangin' out and trying to rest. Honestly, though I think I am going to be pretty bored for the next 16+ weeks. I am trying to line up things to do, such as putting together a blog, learning Spanish from the CD's I got for x-mas last year and registering. Should keep me busy for a little while at least.

Sorry to hear that some are having problems, but glad ya'll are feeling better.
This is so exciting finding out all the sexes. I looked at my baby boy last night moving all around. He is getting so big. Im going to try to post some pics of cribs and bedding we are looking at.
