I was so excited yesterday I updated the genders/appointments list and never announced!!! Duh

Baby A is a GIRL!!!!
Baby B is a BOY!!!!

We are so excited....I just can't believe it!!

As for the cribs and bedding...I love the giraffes too and the bottom crib!!!!! But all are great choices and I don't think you could go wrong any way you went!!!!

Melanie- I love the bedding with giraffes on it. You could do so many fun things with decorating. I personally love the first crib pictured. I dont know why but I really like the square look.

Roxane- Have fun at the weeding ! I'm looking forward to going to my Bro's wedding next month too. Its just that I need to fly to India for that and I'm concerned about how safe it would be at that point of time, though my doc says it should be absolutely fine.

Has anyone been having sleepless nights these days ? Ever since I heard that I should not sleep on my back since that could stop or restrict blood supply to the baby, I have been very conscious the whole night ..consequently I hardly get proper sleep since I keep worrying that I might just sleep on my back. How bad is sleeping on ur back ?

Jessica congrats could'nt ask for anything more.
Can't say I have restless nights b/c usually when I hit the bed I don't even remember falling asleep.My dr told me you should sleep on your left side but of course you have to take breaks and sleep on yoour back and right side. She told me that I could lay anyway except my stomach till 20wks. What have ya'll heard?

I'm going to see if I can get an u/s at my appt. on tuesday. I think waiting until 22 weeks to find out the gender is rediculous. I'm going to call them on monday and see if they will add one to my appt....besides, after my gi issues of the past couple of weeks, I'd really love to see baby anyway just to calm myself and know that baby is okay.

Denise- Congrats on your BABY BOY!!!! That is SO exciting! I totally know how your family feels. Our whole family is dominated by girls and so this will be the FIRST grandson for us too! YAY!!!

Jessica- Congratulations on your BOY and GIRL! Double blessing! It will be so fun to shop for both!!!

Melanie- I like the giraffes as well! As far as crib I think it depends on your style. The square is more contemporary and the other is more traditional (to me anyway). Both are beautiful no matter what you pick.

Tulip- I am totally at the tossing and turning stage. I sleep for a little while on either side. I've also been getting Charley Horses in my legs too. Had them with my first pregnancy. Not fun!

Leigh- Sorry about the kidney infection! Good thing your doctor is being proactive though.

Renee- Also glad that you were proactive about your GI issues. Did they say it could be irritable bowel? It can act up with everything swelling up inside. Hopefully the Imodium will take care of the problem.

Donna- I totally know about all the worries. Your body changes as you get older (not that you're old) but you know, aches and pains increase. I've totally noticed that too! I'm glad we have each other to share our worries with!

Ana- Sounds like you have plenty to keep you busy! Registering will be fun!

Cat- Good luck at your appointment! Hope all goes well!

I finally broke down and bought some maternity clothes of my own. A friend lent me hers, but everything was too big.

My sister met me at Motherhood and I got some good basics....black pants, grey pants, tan cords and jeans. I also got a dress, two blouses, and 2 bras. All that for $280. I think that is pretty good. I also found a top at Ann Taylor Loft, but their prices were much higher and they had less selection compared to Motherhood. I'm a bit of a challenge because I'm petite. We had some good laughs when I tried on some of the things. Guess I'm not used to looking pregnant yet!

On the subject of sleeping positions, I am trying to stay off my stomach, but I'm sure I am on it occasionally. Once I'm asleep, I'm out! Monitoring my position in the middle of the night is not really possible for me.

Tulip23, I have been having trouble sleeping coz I always slept on my stomach and I am having a really hard time sleeping on my side. I feel like my stomach is cramping up in the middle of the night when I am on my side.Sometimes I get so tired I sleep on my stomach for a little while. My stomach is not that big yet so I am cheating.Only nobody ever told me how to sleep. I even lye on my back some times coz the side thing is not working for me. I am so excited and nervous for tomorrow. It has been a long four weeks waiting for this appointment. This was the longest I had gone without seeing a Dr.I feel like tomorrow is the first day of school. I feel both so excited and so nervous I hope I can sleep tonight. My appointments is at 0900 I can't wait.
