Thank you all for the congrats!!! DH and I are so excited...we have our level 2 on Sept 24th and I think after hearing again that they are a boy and a girl I will be over the hill....we have been told twice baby a is a girl and once baby b is a boy (can't miss it) but I think I just need to hear it again to really believe it!!
Renee- I would try and have it moved up too...that seems like a long time to wait Roxane- How was the wedding???

 Jessica I had to hear the genders at two different appts too before I finally felt like there was no mistaking. Now I feel like I can shop without regrets. The wedding was beautiful. It was outside by a creek though so there were tons of mosquitos and my stilletos were sinking into the grass the whole night. I finally had to take them off and go barefoot because my feet were swollen. The bathroom was up this huge hill inside a church and across the street. I had to hike up like 5 flights of stairs to get to it!!! After the first time I just told myself - Youre being so stupid!!!! I was so outta breath and I didnt want to risk PTL. So the next time I made my DH drive me up there! How was everyone else's weekend???

Hi Everyone!
My appt went great today! Got results back from my 3 hour glucose and I PASSED! I can't believe it. You have to fail 2 out of 4 to be officially diagnosed with gestational diabetes. My 1 hour came back at 170 and the rest were normal...YIPPEEE!!! My doctor still wants to check my sugars randomly and told me not to run out and get a hot fudge sundae...LOL! Baby's HR was 150 which was normal. My next appointmet is in 4 weeks and I have a follow up with the MFM doctor at 28 weeks for another ultrasound. I'm so happy!

Cat- I found that at jcpenny.com. This was really the only place I found cribs and bedding that I was crazy over. My sppt is Friday. I think Its just a heartbeat appt. but Ill take it.

I need some help from you ladies who are in the know about epidurals. They don't make you totally numb do they, they just help with pain management? Then, my second question is if you have one are you still able to get up and go to the bathroom or do you have to have a catheter? I've never seen anyone on A Baby Story or Special Delivery (not that I'm addicted to those shows or anything) have a catheter yet they have the epidural. I know I'm 20 weeks away from having this baby but I'm such a baby myself when it comes to pain I'm trying to get educated so I'm prepared:-)

Rox- I was dying for a sundae after he said that too! Elizabeth- I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. When I had my DD, I knew that I wanted an epidural in advance which I'm glad I asked for it! But, I ended up having to have a c-section because she was breeched, so I had a spinal. Either way, for me, the pain of labor was so bad that it was instant relief when I got the spinal. Of course I was numb from waist down. Actually I could care less at that point if I had a catheter or not (which I ended up getting). I plan on epidural again with this one.But as far as having the epidural and being able to walk, I don't know. Hopefully someone will be able to help you. Don't worry.

It's a Girl.
Today's appointment went great. I was glad to see my little girl moving around, and I tell you it's been a long wait. I can now start shopping and getting ready for her. I think we are going with Jamie Michele for her name. I am really excited and I am looking forward to feeling her. Believe it or not I have not started feeling her yet unless I am missing something.
