Cat how exciting! I didnt feel mine start to move until the 19 week mark. Now that I am 21 weeks I am feeling all kinds of bumps! It will probably be any day for you!

i had an epidural with daughter, i have a bad back so it wasn't the contractions that were unbearable but the back pain i was crying until i got the epidural
you pee before that and then they don't let you drink at all so i didn't have to pee or have a caledar but before i left labor and delivery i had to pee for the nurse or they would give me a cathedar but i peed no problem not being able to walk around was a bummer jaime

Congrats everyone on great appointments! Has anyone bought a stroller yet? I am about to pull the trigger on a purchase, but am wanting to make sure I am not premature. I have been researching strollers for quite some time now and think I have found an awesome deal!

cat-so excited for you and your baby girl. it will be wonderful.
Cathy-so glad you passed your glucose test, I know how important that is so congrats. Rox-glad you made it through the wedding okay. I am 18 weeks and not feeling any kicks yet either but I anticipate it will happen soon. Went to the dr. today. tried to get them to do any ultrasound with all of the GI things I've been having go on, but they said it would cost me $400 b/c it wasn't scheduled and wasn't dr. suggested. Anyway, we didn't get the u/s....but we did get to hear the heartbeat and it was 152 bpm which I was very happy about. our next appt. with u/s where we can find out the gender is oct. 14th at 2:30....just wish they could have done it sooner b/c hubby will be in the field combining unless it rains. It will be great to see the little bean though. Have a great rest of the night. Renee

The stroller I think I am going to purchase is the Mutsy Urban Rider. I have been researching strollers like crazy and feel like I have considered just about every option. My dad found a great deal for me online at barebabies.com and the woman he spoke with said that although the sale is technically over she would honor the last sale price for us through the week. The sale would be for stroller with toddler seat and with bassinett. That would typically be a $700 stroller and she said she would sell it to us for $449.10 which includes tax and shipping! Huge savings! I have been looking on ebay and following the auctions and have been searching craigslist for a used one in my area or from someone willing to ship it. Thus far I have yet to find even a used one for near the sale price at barebabies.com. I am the last one in my family to have a baby and I want to be different in some ways...to stand out amongst the sea of moms and children. So anways, that is my long story of the stroller I am itching to buy. I am going to take a look at it in person today at a local retailer to make sure this is "the one" and then I think I'll make the call to place the order.

I just called the shop listed on the Mutsy website as carrying their line and they told me they were closing and no longer had Mutsy strollers, in fact she said "we are very depleted on strollers".
 I wanted to have a chance to take a look at it before purchasing...now I am a little nervous! HMMMMMMMMMM. What to do, what to do?!

Thanks for the recommendation, I am going to try that! As for the shipping, I would be "out" the shipping costs if I decide to return the stroller...would be about $40-$60. I have read reviews of the stroller and such online and have seen people say that the stroller is heavy and bulky. I just wonder in comparison to the Gracos and Chiccos if the Mutsy is really that much bulkier or heavier. Hmmmmmm.

Hi,
howz everyone? Cat- congrats on the baby girl!! . Looks like a lot of u r already busy bying cribs and all the baby stuff and that sounds so exciting!!! I'll soon be there too, once I get to know the sex of my baby .In the mean time, I have my dumb office to take care of which is hell bent on sending me to Switzerland for 2 months starting oct 1st week !!! I can't imagine why they would like to do that when I have told them about my struggle thro infertility and how much I had to wait for the baby..and now when I have already told them that I need to visit doc every 3-4 weeks, they say that thats not important and that I need to reschedule my docs appointment around the project!!! What made me mad  was that my manager said that the HR says I don't need Docs visit this often at this stage of my pregnancy!!! ridiculous !!! Now I need to ask my HR when to visit the doctor???...Makes me wonder how much flexibility , if at all, I would have at work after I have the baby...
