Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for a while but I had to work and then my computer decided to crash and burn.

Cat - congrats on the baby girl, that's so wonderful.

Cathy - I am sooooooo happy that you don't have to worry about GD this pregnancy. I'm sure that it's such a relief.

Renee I'm sorry that your having to wait so long for your next u/s but sounds like everything is going well...

As far as the epidural it is only suppose to numb you from the waist down. You won't be able to walk around once you have it, because you won't be able to feel your legs. A urinary catheter is usually only used as an in and out procedure if your bladder. They want your bladder empty so it's easier for the baby descend through the birth canal. Most women will use the bathroom prior to the epidural if they are able to up walking around.

Well we finally bought our baby furniture this past weekend I will post it once I get this computer situated.

Now our big thing is picking out a name. We have narrowed it down to 2 and I would really like your opinion. So please vote!!

Poll: Talbott baby boy - BabyCenter

I am so happy that everyone is doing well with their pregnancies so far.

I love the giraffe bedding and the top crib by the way!

Oh and my OB told me not to worry about not sleeping on my back until 24-26 weeks. She said and even then unless there is a problem that is compromising the baby's oxygen, she said I'll get to a point that I won't want to sleep on my back. I still make an effort to sleep on my left side as much as possible which can make for some sleepless nights. I did go and buy a Boppy pillow so if I land on my back I'm still slightly on my side. That's what they do in the hospital.

Denise I voted and also added a comment! Those are both great choices!

Candice- Good luck with the stroller hunt! Sorry you are running into problems. I wish I could help but I'm looking at triple strollers and there is not the biggest selecction- I think about6 brands to choose from. But i think we have it narrowed down.

Renee- UUGGG! Why do u/s have to cost so dang much! Im excited to hear the news in Oct!

Tulip- What is up with your HR department? Especially since they know all you have gone through. I hope they will be more flexible after the baby comes. Is there anyone else you can talk to above them? I dont think its fair you have to juggle your Dr's appts around their schedule!

denise- i love the names you are choosing from!

tulip- your HR department sounds TERRIBLE!!! i'm pretty sure that they shouldn't be telling you how often you need to see a dr. i don't think that that should be ANY of their business! hopefully you can get it all straightened out soon!

renee- i'm sorry that you have to wait so long for you us but am so happy to hear that your appt. went so great!!

candice- we've started looking into strollers and i'm pretty sure that we are going to go with the peg perego aria. i've heard some great things about it from a few of my patients (i always feel like a dr. when i say that ). we already got the peg perego car seat so i'm sure that that is the route we are taking. good luck in your search!!

candice- i just wanted to let you know that i just looked up the musty urban rider in baby bargains, and they say it's a GREAT stroller, the only drawback is that it is heavier than most strollers. hope that helps! i'm not sure how tall you are but they also said that taller parents LOVE it! good luck!

DH would really like to use his dad's name for a middle name which is Ray. That is not set in stone either but I do want to be considerate. I would just feel bad for my dad because it's his first grandson too.

Candice, first of all thanks for sharing your research! Sorry about the unavailabity at the retailer. Are you able to locate any other retailers in your area who carry it? The next thing I would do is look for online reviews of the stroller. Let us know how you make out!
