Candice, Congrats on the Baby Girl!! I love the bedding. I also ordered my crib, dresser and bedding set from JCpenny. I will try to post a pic. The crib and dresser is on back order till nov. so I placed it now just to be safe. They do not offer my set in espresso anymore so there is a possability it could be discontinued. I just have to keep checking and keep my fingers crossed. I love the name addison. I wanted to name mine the same if it was a girl and a friend took the name before I could.

funny story. we went over to my sisters tonight to celebrate my nieces 3rd b-day. they have a 4 month old too, along with an older girl. anyway, ella went upstairs and got a diaper and a couple of wipes and got down and started to undo my nephews diaper because she said she 'needs to change him'. we of course stopped her before she did it, but it was so funny how she got it in her little head that she needed to do that. I think having a sibling will be an adjustment for her, but I think she will make a great big sister.

off to two baptisms tomorrow and then hopefully home.

Thanks again ladies for your congratulations! My husband and I couldn't be happier!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend but now its time to buckle down for yet another work week. Personally, I'm just not ready in the least! I must say, after such an exciting weekend I feel like nothing else really matters to me. Anyone else feel that way after you found out the gender of your little one? I got right down to "work" this weekend ordering bedding and buying organizational things like baskets for the changing table. We also received our stroller that was being shipped to us and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it (Mutsy 4Rider Light)! I ordered some awesome lullaby CDs for my husband for his birthday (Rockabye Baby! - Coldplay and Rockabye Baby! - U2) and ordered some custom made onsies to put in the diaper bag I got him. We also registered and had a special dinner with our families to announce the ultrasound results. I feel so much in "baby mode" that I am having a really hard time switching back into the frame of mind to focus on my clients for the next 3 days. AAAHHHHHHH!

Do you all know the show Best Week Ever on VH1? Well, I feel like we'd be crowned at the end as having it!

my dh and dd have always said boy, i was thinking girl
but last night i dreamt very clearly of me nursing a baby boy, we shall see.

my dd really really wants a brother and my dh grandfather really REALLY wants a boy because my dh is the last boy carrying on the family name and grandpa is in his upper 80's

but as we have experience on this board we are really just praying for a healthy baby of any gender

Melanie-I think I mentioned it on another thread, but I love your crib/bedding. I can't wait to see pics of the finished nursery.

We bought our glider/ottoman, crib and dresser yesterday. Should get here in 8-12 weeks. The really sweet thing about the place we ordered from is that if your baby comes early, or before your furniture, they will come to your house with a loaner set of furniture so you have something to bring baby home to. How cool is that?

So we got the crib and the 3 dresser with the side drawer (like Melanie's) in the color shown (matches our blinds and closet doors). W/o those little round feet on the bottom, so it lowers each about 5 inches. (I don't like the feet...I am a straight lines type of person).

I am also including 2 bedding sets we are looking at...Attachment 52744 Dh likes the first one better so far...

Jen I love your set, and I'm really torn between the two bedding sets, but I think I'm leaning towards the first one.

Here is what we picked out. We bought the crib, and the dresser with the hutch, the dresser will have 6 drawers and the bottom shelf can be removed from the hutch so I can put a changer on top. We also bought a little night stand so when he's older it'll go beside the bed. I can't wait to see all of our finished nurseries.

Denise-that was my second choice crib set. I really love it. I just had the problem that the crib was a bit higher and harder for me to reach in. But I love the simple lines in that set. And I love the color shown. What color did you get?

Okay here is the glider. We bought a matching ottoman. The wood color we chose is called cogniac. Ours differs from the pic in that it has a round base because it swivels. We got the caddie style model because we hope to have this forever! It glides, has multipositions, swivels. We got a greenish color for the padding. It should match any of those beddings I posted above, and it will go with most of our other furniture in the house.
