Bloated anyone?
Is anyone feeling bloated? Even just a little? For me it's worse after I eat. Wondering if anyone else has the same symptoms.

Yes I was bloated even when I was POAS! I was so paranoid because I thought I was already showing. Now that I am 6 weeks I feel like the bloating is finally subsiding and I dont look prego anymore.
 (Easier to hide it!)

 Cat!Good luck today Valerie! Oh I am so freakin' bloated. I look like I am 6 months pg! My tummy also hurts, probably from the antibiotics. Anyone else on antibiotics? I am on erythromycin 3x/day for 1 month! Ugh! I am also on 2x/day heparin injections... so in addition to the bloat, my belly is all black and blue and sore...

Jen, why are you on antibiotics? I was on Amoxicillin for an ear infection which I just finished up, but it was totally unrelated to the pregnancy. Hmmm.
I don't feel bloated, don't feel much of anything, still. Hopefully my beta will ease my nerves.

CAT!!!! We're happy to have you join us! I think there's a strong chance that a lot of us might deliver the end of January! I know that I probably will ( I went 2 weeks early with my 1st one). So Jen, I'm curious too, what's the antibiotics and Heparin for? Are you at risk for clots? Or are they just being super cautious with you? You poor thing. You had an unmedicated cycle but still have to take medicines...it will be worth it!

The heparin, 17-OH-progesterone, and the antibiotics are extreme measures to help prevent m/c from either clotting, infection or low progesterone. I have had 2 m/c's before and both times my progesterone was low. If I could give up one, I'd give up the antibiotics-they rip my tummy! But if it helps me have a healthy pg and healthy baby, then I am all for it!
Oh yeah, I also have a MTHFR mutation, so I am on baby aspirin and Folgard (the heparin goes along with this too).

Ahhh, I figured that. Double the blood thinners too with ASA and Heparin. The aspirin must do a job on your stomach along with the antibiotics.  It doesn't help that the progesterone weakens the valve in your stomach that blocks reflux! I read that TUMs is okay to take. You'll be okay! Very interesting though!
