Hi Ladies

I haven't really posted here much yet, still not quite believing it....

I went for a scan 2 weeks ago Doctor said I was 5 weeks exactly, I thought it would be 5 weeks 5days...

So I went back for another scan today, and no heartbeat seen, should be 7 weeks....The doctor said he was hopeful but I feel like ****

so I go back again in one week, but I just feel worried...when did you see a heartbeat, was it late for anyone else?

Any stories would be comforting.Thank you!

Beth I am so sorry to hear about your bleeding!!! Please let us know if everything is okay! I hope it was not an etopic....

Cathy- I too am eating protien like a mad woman. Especially with 3 in there, my DR said 25% of my diet should consist of it. When did you start seeing a dietician? I really feel strongly like I should go to one. Did your insurance cover it? I called on mine and it does not. So Im wondering if it is worth the extra money or if I can just do it myself.........

Congrats on all the u/s that happened while I was away!!! Passionscientist !!! I used to spy on the Houston clinical trial thread so I remember you!!!! Congrats!

Roxane, you can do it yourself. Just make a list of everything that contains protein (google it) and then just make a conscious effort to have more of those things. My RE actually gave me a hand out that says whenever I have carbs or sugars, to always have protein with it. Peanut butter crackers seems to be my favorite these days.

It wouldn't hurt to see what it would cost to see a dietician if you're really concerned.

All those trips will be worth it. I didn't check your siggie but once you're released to the OB you can stay local right?

Crampings normal too. Just try not to stress and try to take it easy when you're feeling that way.

Oh Really, Well then I know we arent alone. We do try and watch her diet, Low fat stuff. But a six year old is hard to tell she cant have the good stuff. She loves fruit and veggies. She is also very very active, soccer, karate, running, tennis, gymnastics, swims everyday. My husband and his family have it I think it runs in the family.
As for my OB , yes he is local, but I will seeing my Re probably through about 11-13 weeks. I am high risk for miscarriage and my last MC was at 13 weeks and he wants to watch me close.
The stress thing is hard for me, I have to learn to relax more. I am s\just a natural worrier.

Oh you're definitely not alone. She does all the same things too as far as diet and exercise. I believe that they do see a nutritionist too because different things affect cholesterol. She was really stressed at one point trying to figure out what to feed her, but she's definitely more relaxed now.

Well it sounds like you're being well taken care of and You're going to be fine. Don't worry!

Journey, I'm sorry that you're worried. Maybe you just had a late implanter and so you're measuring a week behind? Is your doctor checking beta's on you? Will be praying for your little bean to grow and that you hear a heartbeat soon!

Cathy - What a beautiful U/S picture that is so cool.

Natasha - I am sorry to hear about your daughter, I can't believe that someone so young and active could have high cholesterol.

Jamie - Again, I am so, so happy you are over here!

Roxane - You RE ok'd you to go golfing? I was thinking I would be ok, but was going to ask at my U/S on Thursday.

Elizabeth - I am so glad someone else has purchased a few maternity items. Here in WI, it's kind of hard to know what I will need, because by the time I really start showing it will be cold and all new clothes are needed.

Journey - I am all is ok with your little bean. I haven't had an u/s yet so I don't have any stories for you.

Joining the gang cautiously..I don't want to be very excited until my 1st u/s scheduled on 7/17. My 1st beta was 1109 and my doc did not order a 2nd beta for me.I don't have any symptoms except my boobs that feel sore a bit and yes a lil bit of bloating (not sure if I'm imagining that or its real)..what symptoms do you all have ? I used the due date calculator and it appears my due date is 26th Feb.

Tulip. Congrats on the BFP. That is a really high beta number, how many days past transfer was it? I can't believe your RE is making you wait until 7-17 for an U/S, won't you be about 7.5 weeks?. I think mine is bad for making me wait until I am 6w3d.

My beta was 2 weeks after a 3 day transfer. My RE actually wanted my on 07/09 but I'm out of town and so loaded with work that I cannot even breathe before 07/16..I feel so bad that I need to wait so long for my U/S...would it hurt my pregnancy in any way if my U/S is delayed ? should I just go ahead and get it done on the 9th itself ? I hate work so much now..its coming in between everything now..I had always dreamt of how I wud tell my hubby that I got a BFP and I had to call over the phone and tell him this good news!!! and then meet after a week to actually kiss over this news bcoz we were in different cities !! But I should not complaint..I got what I had been waiting for sooo long!

wow I step away for 2 hours or so and now I can barely catch up lol..........

Kristen congrats on the great number!

Cathy this is just my opinion but I would stay on for the 2 weeks. My RE wants me to stay on it until I'm 12 weeks. I think I'm going to play at safe as possible. I'm too scared that I would do something too early and have a problem, but that's just me.

everyone.....

Congrats Tulip & Jessica - i am so happy for you
Tulip, i think you may be joining Jessica in the multiple category - that is an amazing beta!!!

Tulip as for the symptoms - my breasts hurt and i have cramping that comes and goes. i have also had spotting due to my progestrone inserts which has kept me at a constate worry

i know that it is early but does anyone have an inclining on what they are having, like mother's intution?

i hope that everyone has a wonderful pregnant day!!!!
