to the newbies!

Cathy-your U/S pic is AMAZING....I can't wait until I get a pic like that....so clear....

kristen-congrats on your great beta.

Jessica-congrats on the twins....

hello to everyone else.

the nausea is really setting in full force for me these days....NOTHING sounds good to me ....I am basically forcing myself to eat and hoping that it stays down......I thought about asking for zofran, but Im going to see if I can wait it out a bit....I'm on metphormin for my PCOS until week 13, and i don't want to take too many meds with the little bun in the oven, so I'm going to try and fight it off for then next 5 weeks or so and hopefully it will get better.

So much activity today!

Great beta Kristen!

Jamie (Historyteach) - Yea! So Glad you're here!

to the new Preggos!

Cathy - What a great u/s pick and report on your little over achiever! I love to get lots of protein too...even before my BFP.

Twins! Twins! Congrats Jessical!

OMG - I was so moody, edgy, and just overall in a pissy mood today. Thought is was just me. Darn hormones!

Did my research today(while at work) and found an OB...He recieved lots of awards and such so I was impressed. He also practices in infertility issues and high risk, which can't hurt. (Notice my age) They said they could see me tomorrow or next Tuesday....I selected next Tuesday. I have to fill out a 21 page patient information/history form. Anyone else have to disclose their life story before seeing OB?

Forget who asked, but my only "symtoms" are constipation, bloating, and my nips started to get sore today...only nips, not the bb's. No nausea or fatigue.....yet. Oh, and don't forget the beotchiness.

Sorry for not being able to respond to everyone! Long day for me!

Renee-there is no need to suffer. Zofran is perfectly safe and really does help.

Yeah Renee I just wanted to second the zofran. I was truly suffering with my morning sickness, I could barely work and I felt like crap all the time. Now with my zofran work is tolerable and I feel like crap only in the mornings. I am still so jealous of those women without morning sickness.. I tell you it truly sucks!

Good morning!

I just wanted to all the newbies on here. This is such a great thread.

I'm sorry to all of you suffering from the m/s. I've been fortunate so far. I am tired a lot now. I would definitely get some zofran if I were having problems. It works great and we give to pregnant women all the time in the ER.

I had someone come in that went through IVF and was pregnant and the Dr. was admitting her for a severe UTI. I was shaking my head the whole time thinking OHSS! Poor girl. She was soooooo sick.

I was going to wait to have my hair done until I went to see my OB tomorrow, but the girl that does my hair is pregnant and she said that she'll only do highlights so that it doesn't touch my scalp. Anyone else getting hair colored??

Tulip! That is an amazing beta! I'm thinking definitely more than 1! Congrats!

Jess- Congratulations on TWINS!!! How cool, the number of multiples on our thread is growing!!!

Denise, I stopped by my OB's yesterday to pick up a prenatal package and nt it was this awesome packet of commonly asked questions. The one that caught my eye was migraines. It says Tylenol or Extra Strength Tylenol is acceptable in pregnancy. Do NOT take Advil, Nuprin or Aspirin (which we all know). But it says that Fioricet is okay if prescribed by your OB. So I hope you don't get any more, but it wouldn't hurt to ask your OB about it.

Regarding Permanents and Hair Dye: Avoid in the first 3 months of pregnancy since it is not known for sure if this is safe.

By the way, thanks for the advice on the suppositories. I think you're right and will continue it for 2 more weeks.

Congrats Jessice on Twins!

Dani - Wow, that is crazy to have to put all of that info down, but that is a good thing, it means they will have your whole history and should be able to best treat you.

I am so glad I heard about the Zofran thing from you ladies, the m/s is really getting intense, pretty much all the time now, I just called my Dr.'s office about Zofran and I am hoping they give it to me.

I'm so excited today, I don't feel sick at all! Whew it is such a relief to be able to get stuff done. We have people coming to look at our house tonight (fsbo) so everyone think happy thoughts and keep your fingers crossed for us. I really want to move back home before the baby comes. All of our friends are there and I miss them so much. We are also adopting a little boy that we hope to have home by Christmas so I would like to move before all chaos breaks loose here lol! I hope everyone has a great day!

Red face

Tulip and Historytech- CONGRATS on your pregnancies!!! I have a feeling there will still be more ladies joining us!!!!

Jessicap- Yahooooo Twins!!! I am so thrilled for you!!!!! It is exciting to see them both when you have your first u/s, huh?

Ana- My doctor said swinging a golf club was fine as long as I did not carry the clubs. My DH was a little freaked the whole time but we had fun!

Journey good luck with your pregnancy! My first u/s was not until 8 weeks and then I had a clear shot of everything... I did feel like crap too but mostly my early symPtoms were sore boobs and bloating.

Cathy- Thnx for the nutrition advice... I will do some googling.

Denise- I had heard that if you get your hair colored in the first trimest. that it would alter the coloring but I had not heard of anything on the dangers of it. I had a full weave at 6 weeks. It looked great but now I am freaked out because i didnt know it could affect the babies! I swear if anything happens to them Ill blame myself- golfing, hair dying, cleaning the bathrooms, doing nails(my job), not drinking enough water... I try to steer clear of anything harmful but it seems like the list goes on and on!
