Question How long after surgery for ectopic did your cycle start?

Hi Ladies,
Long story short, I had emergency surgery for an ectopic on 4/14/09. I lost my right tube, but they said left tube and everything else still looks perfect. My questions is, How long after surgery do people usually start cycling again? My doctor said it can take up to 6 weeks, but Im wondering if that is normal, or if some people start cycling earlier than that?

Exact same thing happened to me, except they saved my tube. I had only a partial rupture. My next cycle was really normal...it was about 4 weeks after my surgery.

Mine was also about 4 weeks. I want to tell you though that they told me that my other tube was great, looked perfect, but I pushed for an HSG because I was so scared of it happening again, I had to find a new DR. my other said there was no reason for it. Well long story short the other tube had a blockage and was not able to be seen until the HSG.
