Tubal Pregnancy and Infertility
Have you had a Tubal Pregnancy?
What did your Dr. say about your chance of conception after removal of the tube?
When I was younger, and not so keen on having children, I had a tubal pregnancy. The Dr., at the time, assured me that the removal of the tube would not affect my chances of getting pregnant. So years later when I got pregnant, I thought nothing of it. It’s been fifteen years since that surgery, and ten years since I had my last child, now, after “trying” for five years, I wonder if what my Dr. told me was really true.
During my surgery, the Dr. removed my left fallopian tube and my left ovary. I wonder if the removal of half my eggs has really played a pivotal roll in my ability to achieve pregnancy.
What have your been told?
