When did af return after an ectopic prenancy? I was bleeding from before the surgery till about 3 days after and i've stopped. How long until af returns?

This is a question I can't answer for you. I'd assume if you started bleeding already that it should start a new cycle but I don't know that for sure as I've never experienced a pregnancy or a loss. If in doubt ask your doctor.

i guess it depends on what method was used to end the ectopic. i had the methotrexate and i have been bleeding for almost 3 weeks straight. it isn't af though. i think they say that it is around 6 weeks until af returns, but it depends on how fast your hcg levels fall to zero.

ara, are you still going for hcg beta tests? And thanks for the info. My dr said 4-5 weeks until my next af, but then i wasn't sure if she meant that what i had know was af and i wait again or what. And then i was reading and some posts said it could take upto 10-15 weeks and that was worrisome.
