Yes it's possible to have an ectopic and not be bleeding. If you have any question at all get yourself in for an ultrasound as soon as possible.

Yvonne, it is possible. If i'm reading this right though, your test was just yesterday? Until your beta hits 1500, they can't definately see a sac in your uterus. how bad is the pain that you're having? Is it continuous, or are there just throbs and then it subsides for a while?

Yvonne- I just had an ectopic (6/12). I had no bleeding. My only symptom was the throbbing pain on my left side. I went to the Dr. on Monday 6/11 and was given a shot of methotrexate. The shot didn't work and on Tuesday I had pain in my right shoulder-it ruptured and I was internally bleeding.

I certainly hope this is not your case. I was at 6.5 weeks and my beta at the time was 3100. You might be too early and could just be ligament pain, but please call your Dr. to get you in for a u/s just to make sure. If the pain is bad, mine was, go immediately to the ER if you can't see your Dr.

I'm praying that your situation is not the same as mine...

I'm thinking of you Yvonne. I had an ectopic but I had bleeding as well as cramping. I also had the methotrexate shot and it worked very well...it was a painful 2 days though. I was just about 6 weeks. I hope this is not what is happening to you. Let us know when you find out anything.
