Anyone heard of a lap causing adhesions?

Hello everyone. I just got back from another re apt. to discuss yet another plan of action for this horrible journey of infertility. I have had 1 IUI so far and it didn't work. My doctor suggests trying 2 more before moving on to injectibles and IUI. I'm nervous because I was diagnosed with stage 2 endo in Nov. and everything was clear with very minimal scarring. When I asked my doctor today why he thinks I'm not getting pregnant he says he can't answer that but it is possible that my lap could have caused scarring and adhesions and that could be the problem! I'm shocked because I assumed that the lap was to remove things like that and didn't know it could possibly cause adhesions to form . He suggest maybe having another lap in 2 months if I don't get pregnant. This would be my second one in less than a year??? Has anyone ever heard of anything similar to this. It's so frustrating because after the 1st lap I was so happy to find out that all my endo was removed with minimal scarring and no blockages.

I had stage I endo on my first lap. After seeing a new RE 2 yrs later he wanted me to do another lap. I thought it was soon, but we did it.(I was having terrible cycles) Sure enough I had Stage II endo and my left tube had been scarred over. They think they got most of it, but are still not completely sure of my left tubes function. If you feel that you are having issues then I definately say it is not too early.
