Endometriosis and Hashimoto's

Hi, has anyone else been diagnosed with severe endometriosis and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis? I have both and had my first laparoscopy surgery in July of 2008. I decided against Lupron. I decided to follow an endometriosis diet instead.

I guess my real question is...is there anyone out there who is diagnosed with both and who got pregnant on their own? If so, how long after the surgery did you get pregnant?

Thanks!

I have only been diagnosed with severe endo. My Re said that the chances of me conceiving naturally are very low. He is recommeneding IVF, but he said to keep up trying cause you never know I might end up pregnant naturally.

I have been trying to conveive for a while now, cant figure out what the problem is. My doc finally said after i told her it might be endo, i researched it over and over again so now my surgery is set for April6th. I am real nervous about the surgery and recovery. Can anyone tell me a little about it to ease my mind.

Hi Kells,

Are they doing a laparoscopy? Have you been diagnosed with endo via surgery or is that what they are going to do.

I had surgery last october, the doctor was going in there to remove a cyst, but saw there was no cyst and in fact endo was all over the place. He took out a little bit but was not able to gett all of it.

Anyways, the surgery was not bad. I was only in pain the first day and sore the next few days. The thing that was the worst was all of the pain meds, they made me very nauseaus and I was basically throwing up for about for days.
