hi i had a lap done yesterday. and the doc found mild endo, he zapped it away. i was just wondering if anyone knows whats next. a little info, been ttc for 2 yrs, had hsg on in april everything normal. was on clomid from feb to may. and then took a break until november, doc suggested i start injections or have a lap, we opted for the lap as the injections are very expensive and i wanted to know if there was anything wrong. do you think doc will want to put me on injections now.. we were going to ask about clomid again, what do you think. he had told me if injections do not work, the next step would be ivf. we just cant afford that.thanks for all the comments.

My story sounds a lot like yours. We had been ttc for 2 years. RE suggested a lap because he suspected endo. He found and zapped mild(stage 2) endo. At my follow up he suggested starting IUI with clomid and injectables. DH and I decided to try 2 cycles naturally before moving to IUI. The first cycle was just a week after the lap and was BFN, but the next month, we got a BFP! My RE didn't mention IVF, but I suspect if we'd had several failed IUIs then he would have suggested IVF. Good luck and I hope getting rid of that endo works like it did for us.

Same here...

I did 2 cycles of injections and IUI which resulted in a BFN. I then had a lap done in September. My RE found 2 tiny spots of endo and removed it. The following 2 months we did a natural cycle IUI and a I got pregnant on the second natural IUI. Good luck!!!

I wanted to wish you good luck, I can't really help because my lap was back in 2003 and I didn't get preg till 2007 (was on depo provera to control the endo--which isn't helping now, going for further testing for polyps/fibroids/scar tissue that may lead to a d&c or lap).

If everything looks good now and there is no MF I would think that natural or IUI would be your first step, IVF is usually not the first step. My lap and scope was in August, the dr’s thought that I would get PG after but no luck for me so we are moving on to IVF.
