Hi Ladies! I had a lap done in August (stage II to III) and after my doc. gave me three months of lupron...got my last shot on Nov. 10th and I am so eager to get my period and start ttc.

I am just wondering how long it took those of you who have gone through this treatment, to get your period. Did you take anything to start your period?

I had a lap done in sept. and was given only one shot of lupron Sept. 28th, I have just gotten my period now in Dec., however I have researched that the longer you are on lupron the longer it takes to clear fully out of your system (so women have waited almost a year after a 3 month shot), like i said it took mine 2 months to return after just 1 month shot, but my doc's have told me most women don't experience a disturbance in their cycle after just one month, so to concluded, everyone's body is different, it might come back right away or it could take a little longer, there's no way of knowing. I had 6 months of injections of prostap, which is exactly the same as lupron but i live in the UK.
I had my last injection on 7th october 08 and i had my period on 20th december so it was just over 2 months, but i also researched this because i was starting to panic that my period wouldn't come back and i found that the length of time it takes to return can vary considerably . I am now on my first month of taking clomid so we'll see what happens! Good luck

I was on Lupron for 6 months and I think it took around 45 days for mine to come back.
