IVF and Endo
Hello! I was diagnosed with severe endo. in November, when I had a lap done to remove possible adhesions. RE removed a large cyst from my right ovary. I went through an IVF cycle in Feb. At my first u/s, another endometrioma was seen on my left ovary (had popped up since the first lap). We went ahead with the IVF cycle, but they were not able to get any eggs off the left ovary and only one immature egg off the right. I took a month off and we just went in on Saturday for another u/s. The cyst is still there and my RE wants to do another lap. The thing is, they saw 6 antral follies on my right ovary. That is more follies than I had on both ovaries during my IVF cycle. What is going on???? Should I have another lap to remove the cyst on the left ovary? I am afraid another lap will mess me up again--more cysts, longer time for ovaries to recover and make follies. Any suggestions?
