Hi sk0767,
I have stage 4 endo and have done 2 cycles of IVF as well which failed. My RE told me to get a Hysterosalpingogram done and it was found that both my tubes are hydrosalpinges, which probably didnt allow the embryo to stick in the first place. Has your RE recommended you that? sok |

hi sok
yes i have done that...i dnt have any blockage of tubes or anything...but she said my FSH day 3 is coming high..which means my ovarian reserves are not too much..like egg quality is nt great...so now we are just trying naturally...do u know any benefits of accupunture...or chnaging diet..?

Hello Ladies,
I also have endo stage IV. A few months ago my doctor recommended IVF but was not very happy with my FSH level, it was a 9.5. I read a little bit more into what to do to lower it. I am not sure if this works for everyone but I belive it did for me. I started exercising more, stopped drinking caffeine and wheat completely and started taking omega vitamins. My RE ordered some more bloodwork and to my surprise my FSH level went down to a 5.5. My RE is very happy and now thinks I will respond better to fertility mediations. He is now going to let me try IUI for a couple of cycles.
H also recommended acupunture. My RE is one of the best Endo specialist in the country, I really feel optimistic. |

Hi ladies
I just wanted to jump in here and tell you that I had very severe stage IV endo and had it many years without knowing it....at 25 I was told my fsh was on the higher end and I thought I had time....by the time I was 28 yrs old my fsh day 3 was close to 30 and I had premature ovarian failure and no eggs left suspect is the endometrosis that attacked my ovaries attacked the eggs....please if you have high grade endo like me please stay with IVF seek a 2nd opinion if you have to....I wasted time with clomid, IUI's and natural cycles and now I realize I didnt have time to waste should have moved right into IVF and stayed with it.....I did however have success with Donor Eggs and I'm currently pregnant with our first child...but had I been more aggressive with treatment when I first found out about the endo I probably could have conceived with my eggs. Good Luck to all of you! ![]()
