Please help me with your knowledge and experience!

Hi Everyone, just visited my RE today and we decided we're douing IUI.After I was told over and over that my reasons for not concieving was my Endo, now it turns out that I have problems with my ovulation...

Anybody with Endo have any success stories with IUI? All guidance welcome and appreciated.. I feel so in the dark...

Hi alg76,

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I also have endo stage IV. We will most likely do our first IUI in August, hopefully I can get a before that, although I really doubt it since I was just put on birth control for two cycles to treat a cyst that I just developed.

Hello,

My FSH level was a 9.5 back in December. My RE was not too happy about that and was not really optimistic about me taking fertility meds. I decided to change my diet a little bit. I quit caffeine completely. I do not consume wheat pruducts and I started taking Omega-3 vitamins. I also exercise more frequestly.

I really do not know if it works for everyone but I really do think that it helped me.

I recently had some more bloodwork done and was told that my FSH is back to normal it went down to a 5.5 level.

Hi, I don't see how I missed this thread but oh well, found it now! I'm kelli. I had dd naturally, no help (other than dh). It is possible with endo. I was diagnosed in 2003 with stage 1. I am now somewhere around stage 3 with fluid around my uterus. So, we are on to ttc #2 since this is the third dr who has told me to hurry up because the endo is growing quickly. It is possible to have a baby even if you have endo, do NOT give up. I am living proof it is possible. Yes it took 357 days to concieve. But we did it. I just hope this time around it won't take as long (dh deploys early next year and dr doesn't want to let us go long with out clomid because the endo is moving soo quickly). If you look at my siggy you see I'm having issues with ovulation and irregular or constant af.

Thank you girls! Thanks for your responses! You have great stories and thank you for sharing them, I'm sure we'll all have a happily ever after.
I saw my re today and we are starting with bravelle inyectables tonight (I had no idea I had to do it myself.... little freaked out...) Friday they give me the date for my IUI.
DH is a little sad that we have to do this and we couldn't concieve naturally, but he's very supportive and can't wait to be a daddy.
I will keep you posted and pray for all of you who are going through the same.
Thanks!

Chila- don't worry about the injections, they are just a quick stick and done, and think what it can bring you!!!
I had very little hope of DH and I ever having a family outside of the fur kids, after our failed IVF, but here we are in week 14 of our miracle, don't lose the faith, we just stopped thinking about it, and trust me when people said "oh it will happen just stop trying" I wanted to scream at them and tell them they were wrong but I just smiled! you are all in my thoughts and the baby dust is coming your way very soon!!!!

chila~ I also have stage IV endo, had my 13th lap in December, 3 months of Lupron, my last injection was March and I am Still waiting on a period. How long did it take you to get a period after your lupron injections?

I have just switched jobs because they said stress can contribute to infertility, So i went from working 50-60 a week to 25 part time and less pay but at this point i rather work two part time jobs just not to have the pressure and stress

Hi Kristi77, I had to take medication to get my period (they induced my cycle). The treatment was 21 days and I got my period. Stress is def contributing to my infertility as well, I know it and I can feel it, but how can you avoid stress?? It's almost impossible, I just try to take time to myself as often as I can and just read, sleep, anything that will keep my anxiety and stress away..
Good luck to you and I pray that we can all hold our babies in our arms soon and just look back and laugh at all this mess.

Hi Chila,
I am in the same boat as you are. I have stage IV endo. Had one unsuccseful IUi prior to lap surgery in november 2008, then had lap surgery on 1/9/09. My RE said they removed a lot of endo (most she has seen in a long time). In April, had 2nd unsuccseful IUI. I also have hypothyroidism, which messed up my hormones (elevated prolactin, and androgens). So, I am a mess.... Anyway, I am waiting to get some lab work done on my hormones and see if I can correct that first before moving to the next IUI or IVF. I am feeling really down. It has been almost 2 years since TTC, I am loosing patience and hope, but I know we have to stay positive and stress free to reach our goal of becoming mothers.
