Unhappy Lupron

I just wanted to know if anyone has quit taking the Lupron after three months and successfully got pregnant?? I have been taking the Lupron for three months and I feel like I'm going crazy . I mean I "go off" for no reason at times and plus I'm ready to start trying to get pregnant. I'm just trying to decide if I should stay on the Lupron for another three months or if I should stop and start trying. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!

I've never been on it but it was an option that my new dr gave me to use either before a hysterectomy or putting in an iud. The only other option given was take provera to fix my constant af and then start trying. I went from no fluid around my uterus in dec to having significant fluid around my uterus at the end of march. He explained that lupron can cause some pretty strong side effects and he would give me a one month shot and if I did well on it he would give me a 3 month shot. If I got all those side effects or it bothered me too much he would not put me back on it at all. He personally hates lupron because some women have serious side effects. I don't have any advice, just wishing you good luck!

I had my 13th surgery in December for Endo IV....I acutally had to have my bowels reconstructed this time from the damage from the endo. So I did three months of Lupron after. I just FINALLY got a period...last week....today is day 11 for me and hopefully this weekend we can try. It is crazy. I felt like a lupron MONSTER......i would cry over everything, I was miserable, I had horrible headaches that landed me in the hospital, I couldn't sleep. I can say i do feel much better after getting my period. But Lupron is horrible. BUT....i did get pregnant after using LUPRON 6 years ago so it is the only reason i did it again....

SO....my opinion is I don't recommend 6 months. Talk to your doctor...stop now and wait til you get a period and try......
