Does this sound like endo?

This is my first post on here. I am 20 years old.

I have read that the pain during intercourse is deep and stabbing well mine is like 1 or 2 inches upon entry and it's like a burning, ripping pain. Is this possible with endo? I went to the doctor and I had a pelvic exam and everything looked fine she said, and an ultrasound that was negative. Should I go back?

My symptoms:
Pain during sex
Extremely painful menstrual cramps (on the floor in pain)
Painful bowel movements that feel like I'm being stabbed (I cannot move when this happens)
Vomit because of painful periods
Diarhhea during period, Nausea, Occasionaly constipation, I have seen a Gastro doctor for this and he couldn't find any problems and said it was IBS, I have also read that a lot of women with endo, often have this.

I'm on the birth control pill and symptoms have gotten a tiny bit better but I have been dealing with painful periods since I was like 14 and painful sex for almost 2 years to the point where I can't have it, very frustrating.

Any advice if you think I could have it or what else it could be, would be great.

I would go back and find another RE. I am almost positive that you have Endo because I had those symptoms pre Lap. I had surgery 3 weeks ago and I am now back to my normal self. A week ago was my first cycle post surgery, I had some cramping but it was not as painful. My Dr said I will notice less and less pain in the next cycle or so.

Hello. I was just diagnosed with endo and just had my surgery last week...(today is day 6 post op). Your symptoms are very similar to mine.

My RE didn't think there was a problem. I had an ultrasound (normal), I had a HSG (normal) and my regular doctor did a pap and said all was normal. The examination in his office was very painful. When he opened the speculum I nearly screamed in pain. Yet he said everything was normal.
I was also having very painful periods that kept getting worse each month, and was also having discomfort almost all the time. Intercourse was really painful at times but deep into the cervix. I was also having painful bowel movements and symptoms similar to ibs at times.
I went to a different doctor and this time I couldn't even have the speculum in at all. She said she was 99% sure I had endo. Sure enough I had Stage 3 endo. No wonder I was in so much pain!
It took 3 doctors to finally diagnose me correctly. But I know my body, and I was certain something was wrong!

Sex shouldn't hurt. go see a different doctor, maybe one that specializes in endo.

Good luck.

yes, i believe u have endo. these are all signs of endo. since your ultrasound came back negative, most likely u dont have severe eno, probably stage 1 or 2. u need to see a specialist of endo. most regular obgyns dont know that much about endo. this is why a specialist is your best bet. these are some good web sites: Endometriosis Pain | What is endometriosis? | Treatment Endometriosis | Endometriosis Symptoms | Pelvic Pain
erc.activeboard.com/index.spark
WeAreEndo.org - The Social Support Network for People Living with Endometriosis

God bless
