TTC after Lupron...
Hello Ladies. I just recently had my last dose of Lupron (6 months). Yay! I made it!
Question: How many weeks/months after your last shot did you get your first period? I'm supposed to go in for fertility re-testing on the 3rd day of my first period, and I'm concerned as I'm going on vacation... and if I get my period while I'm away that will delay my IUI by one more cycle... Thanks. BTW - Lupron's side effects were not horrible for me. I got minor hot flashes, no mood swings, no depression, I did however gain about 5-8 lbs and did have some lack of concentration at work.

DH - 36 - NOA/SCO Azoospermia Me - 33 - Stage 3 Endo Married - 6/2004 TTC - 5 yrs 4/10 - BIL's SA - only 2mil. No go. 2/10 - DH on Androgel / Me on Lupron for 6 months. to treat endo. 1/10 - Low T update after 3 months on clomid (74) Dr. advises against MTESE in fear of losing testicles. We've given up hope of having DH's genetic child. 9/09 - Surgery to remove Endo (Level 3). 8/09 - Diagnosed with Endo 1/09 - Surgery tumor removed (benign) and biopsy - No sperm found 12/08 - Can't rule out cancer, must operate. 12/08 - MRI and BW 12/08 - U/S results - Mass around left testicle. 11/08 - News of Low T (177), high FSH (16.9) and LH (15.6) 11/08 - First UR visit. Abnormal exam. Small and soft testes, not a blockage. Testicular failure. Normal karyotype / no deletions 10/08 - S/A = no sperm again. 09/08 - S/A= no sperm 09/17/08 - First RE visit Coming up: (Aug - Sep) IUI with Anonymous DS

I had my last Lupron injection at the beginning of October 08 and got my 1st period on the 19th December 08 so it was nealry 3 months. I then started clomid on days 2-6 and we were extremely lucky that 1st month and our daughter is now nealry 10 months old. Don't give up, it is possible good luck.
