Unhappy in need of friend

My name is Kim. My husband and i have been married for three years. We are both young (23). When we decided to marry we also dreamed of haveing a big family. After tring for two years we were about to give up. On May 4, 2004 i went to the ER with horrible pain i had no idea i was 2 months pg. Once the doctors told me i called my husband at work i know there was something wrong well they let me go home and on the 14th i was back in the ER things were wrost, thats when they tried to listen to the heart beat but it wasnt there, but my hormone levels was at it's highest so they rushed me into surgery the baby was growing in my tube, so they removed him and also found a bad cause of adhesens and endometriosis. Now one year and a few month later i am more depressed then i have ever been and dont know what to do. I can't help but to think that that was our only chance to be a birth mother.

Please any advice will help, thank you for listening.

Kim, my heart goes out to you. Have your docs said anything about removing the adhesions. Other than your heartbreak, are you in any pain?

Hi Kim,

I am so sorry for your loss. I am not sure what you and your husband have done since your loss, but there are many treatments for endometeriosis and the adhesions. With these treatments it can help you to get pregnant again. I had surgery for my case of endo on June 22nd, the doctor is very optimistic that we will be pregnant in three months.

Everyone is different, but if you have not done so already have a consultation with your doctor and see what is available to help you and your husband.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need a friend or want to talk, I am always here on the boards or you can PM me.

Maureen

Just to add my two cents worth, I agree with Maureen to see if you can consult with your doctor as soon as possible to see what avenue to travel next.

Another item worth mentioning is that if you are under an enormous amount of stress, lots of things will play into the scenario. It's important to try to get as much rest and the right nutrition as much as possible, and keep in touch with those that are closest to you so as to vent your frustration and let go.

I too am so sorry for your loss, but let us know of your progress.

Kim,

I'm so sorry dear. I am only just beginning my journey with an endo diagnosis but have found a doctor who is proficient and successful in treating endo and confident that he can restore my fertility. I believe that finding the "Right doctor" for you is key. Please, don't give up. Do some research on endo. (There are some wonderful books out there) and keep searching for a doctor that understands and can help. And always remember, you are not alone. There are women everywhere going through the same thing and we are all here to support you. Feel free to PM me if you need to talk.

Heather

Kim, I was just talking to a friend who's abdomen was riddled with adhesions. She had had two tubal pregnancies, but they didn't have anythign to do with the adhesions. It was just the worst luck ever. Her doctor cleared some scar tissue from her tubes (seperate scars caused by the tubal pg, not adhesions) and she was able to conceive within 2 months! She is now the proud mama of two little boys.
