Lupron
Hello. I was wondering if anyone had any "strange" experiences with their first Lupron injection. I will get my first one Thursday and everything I've looked up on the internet is negative.

I was on Lupron for 6 mo. I had bad joint pain, hot flashes, and headaches. My doctor started me on Aygestin 5mg and that got rid of the side effects. Did not have a period at all from June-Dec. It was nice. Good luck.

Emily, I took lupron for 6 months and the only s/e I had was hot flashes. I didn't have any endo symptoms while on this injection and it's been 5 months since I've been done and still no endo symptoms. I guess everyone is different. GL!!!

I did a short course of lupron as part of an ivf cycle and had no side effects whatsoever. From what I read, if you take the meds long term, you are more likely to experience menopause-like symptoms.
Kathryn.

I didn't have any trouble at all, just one minor bruise from two days ago. I think I removed the needle too abruptly. If you have any specific questions, I'll try to help.
