Any one had success with an IUI or naturally who was diagnosed with endo? If so can you tell me what stage endo you have, how you got pregnant and how long it took. THANKS!

I have mild endo - stage I, endo removed in May 07 and I've had 7 IUIs, all BFN although I think it may have more to do with me being OLD then having mild endo.

I was diagnosed with endo in 2003, at the time it was stage 1. I immediatly went on depo-provera to try to preserve what little fertility I had. I was off the depo (counting from when my last dose was due and I didn't take) 357 days when we got our bfp.

I concieved naturally. Lots of bd and lots of patience. We were actually starting testing with the next af when we got the shock that we had actually concieved on our own. I don't know what stage I would be considered now (or before my bfp) but my cramping is already back and making up for lost time! I have such an urge to try for another baby quickly so I can have two children but the medical issues are just too risky. We will adopt a child in a few years. I am hoping to get the mirena soon so I can get some kind of hormone control (the minipill didn't help at all--just made things worse).

I was diagnosed with Endo in april 2007.I don't know the stage as my RE never told me. But after laparoscopy he told me it was very very severe endometriosis. I had big chocolate cyst on my left ovary , little on right , pelvis ,i think almost everywhere in my reproductive system. We tried one IUI in oct' 07. Which didn't work although i had great response and everything. My Re advised me to go straight to the IVF after 2 IUI's. But i decided to go to the IVF right away. And It worked in december . I became pregg with my first ivf attempt. And now i am having twins. So I guess it really depends what ur RE think is the best for you. But i have seen so many women with endo getting preg with IUI. I wish there were more positive responses to this thread! Most of the ladies w/endo I have seen on this forum got pg w/IVF. That is disappointing since infertility treatments are not covered by my insurance and I cannot afford IVF.

I feel the same way petunia. This is another thread with 2 other positive responses. IUI success with endo?
It is possible!! I just had a lap and they found stage 2 endo. My RE didn't even mention IVF-only IUI w/injectables. Also, I did get pregnant once on my own, unfortunately it ended in m/c.

Thanks for showing me the other thread. It gives me some hope. My RE suggested IUI as well and was very optimistic. I guess we gotta trust our REs and pray for the best. Good luck to you!
