Prostap for treating Endo
Hi, i have just had a lap for endo, they removed as much of it as they could but they didnt want to remove it all from my ovary because of the damage it would cause.
So now i am due to start 6 months injections of prostap. Has anyone ever had these injections? I'm quite scared afer doing some research on the net, apparantly it comes with some not very nice side effects!! But i'm thinking, what have i got to lose! nothing was working without the injections, so i am willing to give them a go, i will try anything. Thanks Janey x

Janey, I hope this isn't too late. I just saw this. I have never heard of the Prostap. I had to do Lupron which did give me lots and lots of hot flashes. Haven't heard of the other.

Hi, thank you very much, no, it's not too late, i still check for answers most days.
From what i have found out, prostap is called lupron in the US, so i think thats whrere the confusion is. I have started my injections ( a week ago) So far so good, the only side effects i've had so far are not being able to get to sleep as easy as i used to, and i have lost my appetite, which isn't a bad thing because i could do with losing a few lb's!! Did the lupron help you in any way? and did your periods return to normal after you were done with the injections? Thanks Janey x
