Thinking about IUI?? Need Advice
Hello everyone, I am entering my fifth month of fertility treatment with no success story yet. I have been using femara with ovidrel for the past two cycles. I'm considering IUI this coming cycle but it's not covered by my insurance. My DH has excellent everything and I have stage 2 endo no blockages. Has anyone else had mild endo and tried IUI with success? I'm a little disheartened.

Me: 28, Stage 2 endo DH:30, normal everything TTC#1- 1yr and a half 2/2008-- Begin 1st cycle of femara  3/2008--Begin 2nd cycle of femara 4/2008--Begin 3rd cycle of femara -- Added HCG trigger Ovidrel  5/2008--Begin 4th cycle of femara --HCG trigger shot Ovidrel 6/2008--Begin 5th cycle of femara --Contemplating IUI???? --Ovidrel trigger shot 6/19 --1st IUI 6/21 7/2008--Begin 6th cycle of femara --Day 10 ultra.. Cyst on my ovary --No follies. --IUI canceled --7/20  AF Came 2weeks early????7/23---Begin 7th cycle of femara --Day 12 ultra.. Cyst still there. -- 2 good follies, 1 on each ovary  -- 8/1 trigger shot --IUI on 8/3 --TAKING A BREAK!

I did 4 rounds of IUI with no success. While my insurance covered it, I know the cost for each attempt was around $400. I think they usually recommend 2-4 IUI attempts before moving on to IVF.
Of course, I also have a high FSH which means I'm a bit low on eggs.
