weight question
Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and have posted another message about using DS but I also have another question. I will have to do IUI when the donor sperm process is complete. I am about forty pounds overweight. Does anyone know if this will ruin my chances of an IUI. Has anyone had success with a few extra pounds on them. Any replies would be aprreciated. Thank you.

I don't think it will ruin your chances, there are alot of opinions on weight and infertility. Yes extra weight does affect fertility (I am overweight as well and have been on Weight Watchers for six months) but there are alot of overweight and technically obese women who get pregnant with no problem. Try to eat healthy, do some walking and keep your stress to a minimum. Good luck!

Thanks. I just found out I need surgery anyway. So this will give me more time to lose some weight too. Good luck In January!!
