I hope someone will respond to this post as I am so confused. This month I didn't take Clomid or anything, so I haven't been testing much with OPKs either because I am sick of them. I basically tested on and off from CD 10-22. I should have tested each day, but I didn't. Anway, I decided to try a ovulation test yesterday because I had EWCM...Well, it was definitely positive, but it was CD 32, so I had a hard time believing it. (I also have PCOS.)

I tested again today (CD 33) and it is still positive. I tried a HPT also (a cheap internet-ordered one) and it was negative.

Any thoughts on if I am actually ovulating this late or if it is just my PCOS screwing up the results? (I normally have cycles ranging from 35-40 days.)

I got a positive test around day 29, it’s possisible PCOS and long cycles makes it more so. Will you be moving on to IUI?

I don't have PCOS but I've read that it can cause you to have positive OPKs throughout your cycle. But if you had EWCM, that's a good sign that you're just ovulating late (which IS a PCOS symptom), so time to get BDing!

I read somewhere the OPK's can give you a positive when your preggers and will actually show much earlier than a pregnancy test.

Try not to get your hopes up too much but you may be .

Either way time to do the just in case.
